World of Dreams - The fate of wild animals

As we know only wild animals are in the world of dreams. (except wolves and dream walkers ect.)

As we also know if you get cut (or killed) in the world of dreams you get cut... or killed...

So my question. What happens to the wild animals there? If you kill a bird in the WOD (world of dreams) does it die in the real world?

Because when your break inanimate objects (vases ect) they become, unbroken.

same thing with lions and birds? I dont think there are any examples of wild animals getting killed. Do they flicker back into existence or just fall dead in the real world.

It depends on what the wild animals we are seeing in Tel'aran'rhiod are; are they the actual souls of wild animals who died?  If so, and this seems likely, then killing them in Tel'aran'rhiod would obliterate them completely.

Beings in the "regular" world are two things; a soul somehow embedded in or imprinted on thread in the Pattern.  If the thread is cut or burned, the soul is released, but still exists.  Most souls go somewhere else that we haven't seen; the Heroes, some few wild animals, and apparently all wolves go to Tel'aran'rhiod, where they exist only as souls.  As such, if they die, thats it.

This is the danger that also seems to apply to Dreamwalkers, Wolfbrothers, and regular folks who dream themselves into Tel'aran'rhiod.  If their soul dies while in Tel'aran'rhiod, their thread in the real world dies to, and so, thats it.  Game over.

However, what if the wild animals who are in Tel'aran'rhiod are not the souls of dead animals?  What if they are simply dreaming themselves there, much like regular humans who do so?  In that case, they would be in the same danger as the humans who dream themselves there.

That leaves the question, why are there no domesticated animals in Tel'aran'rhiod?

All I can do is speculate here.  It may be that domesticated animals lack the will that comes with self-identity.  Wolves, we've clearly seen, are self-aware in Jordan's world.  It may be that the other animals whose souls manifest in Tel'aran'rhiod share that to a greater or lesser extent.  Domesticated animals, by virtue of having been subdued by humanity, may lose that sort of self-definition; they become machines of humanity.

That last bit though, as I said, is highly speculative guesswork.  Pet owners ... please don't start telling me how smart your domesticated animals are.

So I guess no one really knows?

Its a tough one. I think I would have to say animals that get hurt in the world of dreams get hurt in the real world to.. I guess.

Are they asleep animals? It seems that there is a whole life filled world in there! So wouldnt it be empty during the day! Or are they dead animals!
