Hey everyone,

I’m just posting this to say hi and quickly introduce myself, I’m Scott and I’m from England, I’ve only just joined this site and haven’t figured out how to use any of this yet, but I’m sure I’ll get to grips with it soon so yeah,

Welcome to Dragonmount  ;D

 

I can remember being new here and and it helped that one of the staff expained the forums to me, so I shall do the same thing and pass the knowlage onto the next generation (Sorta, seeing as I am 17 and alot of the people here are older then me xD) Anyway, below I explained the forums to the best of my knowlage. I hope it helps, and I hope I didnt talk to much.

 

Wheel of Time, top of the forums, this area has everything from the Robert Jordan memorial forum to just general conspiracy theories on what people will do in the books.

 

Dragonmount, this is the second area down the forums, it holds all the none WoT related stuff like site news and just talk from around the world. It also has the Help desk aka ask the staff were you can get the staff like me to answer questions on problems about the site.

 

Dragonmount Special Events, this pops up when ever we have an event going on, currently it is Jordain Con, the first ever (I dont know if tickets are still being sold if you are interested)

 

After that are the discussion groups that host a few interesting forums. 

 

And now. the Orgs and Divisions

 

The Organizations (Orgs) are half way down the forums and are like theamed clubs were people get together and talk about stuff they enjoy (As long as its part of the clubs theam, like music and outdoors stuff)

 

Turning of the Wheel, it is really the 3-4 down the forums but I put it here becuase its a Roleplaying section of the forums. It is a freestyle roleplaying forum were you can take part in everything from the last battle to the war of the shadow.

 

Dragon Reborn Planing, this is the part of the forum that hosts the planing and bios of the Portal Stone World which I will tell you about later.

 

Divisions, these are the out of charicter boards for the diffrent divisons, they are like factions in a mmo and are diffrent groups within the portal stone world.

 

Dragon Reborn Role Playing (Aka that Portal Stone World), its our own little wheel of time world were we put our own spin on the storyline and events of the books, you can play as anything from a Wolfkin (Talks to wolves) a Whitecloake (Children of Light) or if you feel evil you can go as a Shadowspawn of Dark Friend.

 

Anyway, I think I covered everything.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me so quickly, and thank you Winterwinds for that help with the forums, I would probably have stumbled around for a long time without help, and as for being 17 so am I so your not the only young one here.
