Last.fm

Well, I stumbled across this online radio station by accident, but what a great accident it was! I have fallen in love with the pure awesomeness of last.fm. It is so brilliant that you don't get any annoying adverts or chat, and if there is a song you don't like, you can skip it! Plus, if you are into a specific area of music (for example, female fronted metal and symphonic metal as I am at the moment), I can listen purely to groups that fall into this genre.

 

You also have the ability to sign up and create a library of your favourite artists and songs. I have also noticed you can link it up to iTunes and your iPod. This is something I am going to investigate in the coming days. You can also add it to your Facebook profile and listen through that, I believe - I know you can link your online account to your Facebook profile.

 

So, who else uses this station? Anybody think it is really awesome??

can you tell me in simple terms how the app works on a normal ipod?

I haven't fully explored that yet as I want to get my first accountancy exam out of the way, which is Monday. After that, I shall investigate further, as I think I need to reformat my iPod, as it is set up on an Apple laptop, and now I have a Windows PC.

I have used it for over a year, quite neat.

But atm I mostly use Spotify for my musical needs, and they still have not set up a link to Last.fm. :(
