DRAGONMOUNT

A WHEEL OF TIME COMMUNITY

Guess I never introduced myself

Toad

Recommended Posts

And though i've been posting quite a bit, I've only been here a week or so, so it's not too late.

I'm 39, married almost 13 years with a 5 year old boy.  I work in sales but am a wannabe writer.  I just started taking karate with my son.  I like running.  Trying to build a drama team at my new church.  I like rocks, minerals and crystals.

Anything else you want to know?

Welcome to Dragonmount, Toad! Interesting name. How did you come by it?

If you like writing, be sure to check out the Scribes in the Illuminators Org. We are always seeking new writers who want to improve their skills.  ;D

My name is Todd, somehow got the nickname at work.  I liked it, so I use it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Scribes group.  I'll check it out.

Welcome to DM Toad!

A drama group? That sounds interesting! Our church youth have an interpretive group called Visual Adrenaline. They did a presentation last Easter to the song "The Thief". It was very good. *nods* Would your group be like that or a 'real' drama, as in performing plays, group?

Wow, Toad.  I feel like you're my dad or something.  Don't take that wrong; he's 39, been married for 13 years, and I have a five year old brother.  Just alot of coincidences I guess!

Writing you say?  I love writing.  I've been writing for 3 years on something that won't finish for a long time, probably.  Check out that writing section, I know I'm going to (I just got here as well).

Drama team for church?  I miss all of those things for church.  Currently I moved to a rural island in the Atlantic Ocean with a church consisting of maybe 80 members to 100.  I'm the only teenager.  :(

Anywho, welcome to the community, and hope you have a good time!

Derrin, is that Prince Edward Island? That's the setting for one of my favorite childhood classics, Jane of Lantern Hill, by L. Montgomery! *nods* It's an oldie, nobody here probably ever heard of it. But I loved it. My Mom had a lot of old books lying around the house. lolz  :)

Come here anytime the summer I suggest.  The summer on PEI is amazing, but any other time is horrible!  Well, not really...  but none of the tourist shops and stuff are open.  Just farming...  and more farming...  and *sigh* farming.

Anyways, I think we should keep this little spot to welcoming Toad, hehehe.  :D
