I don't think that my sarcasm is sneering, or that there is much to misinterpret. All in all, this is the same type of response that you might see from anyone during any game.

 

I do think that it is interesting that you decide to jump back into the game when Taim might look bad and needed a defense.

 

If my post really offended you, then I apologize. It was not meant to. But in a game where you know that the mafia are going to do anything to win, I think it is fair to call somebody on shady behavior.

Well, for someone calling another player out for acting as though they know who all the alts are, you sure are assuming much for a huge group of people. I know that I wouldn't make a comment such as this, so I guess you can go ahead retract that bit.

I think it is interesting that you've done nothing but attack players the entire game, because you got busted at biting at a completely see-though attempt at nabbing mafia. I certainly haven't 'jumped' back into anything. I've never really left, but unlike you people, I try to not participate during the Night, because it serves very little purpose. In this instance, I thought your post inappropriate, and found it prudent to point it out, in case you were unaware.

Yes, I think your post was quite offensive, because everything you decided to post had absolutely nothing to do with furthering the game, but instead to belittle a person's playing tactic.

No, I don't agree with all of the points he has made. However, I'm not going to discard everything said out of hand because you seem to have a bug up your butt over Taim's pm to you. In fact, with what your attitude has shown me, is that in an attempt to not be seen as overly defensive, you've become overly offensive, which in my opinion can be just as bad. Taim's idea to pm random members was a good idea, simple as that. The fact that only two people bothered to reply is quite telling. Since you never said anything in your pm's that really implicated you as mafia, I'm not going to accuse you outright, but you are certainly suspicious in my book. Halima, however, did say in her pm that she was mafia. And she hasn't bothered to quote any pm's of her own to contradict this. This tells me that she is either not reading the posts, or she can't refute the accusation. Even if she did at this point, I don't know that I would believe it. But again, since it was Day 1, we had literally nothing else to go on, and since the liklihood of lynching innocents is more than likely, it seemed the best route to go.

 

You can attack me all you like dear, but I won't bite. Your flying implications only make you look as though you have something to worry about. Or you are trying to get lynched. Perhaps you have a win condition? I'm not really expecting an answer...but it's a thought.

Settle.  Just a game, remember?  I don't know who anyone is behind the alts, though I have a guess or two.  As I'm sure you do.  Someone was bound to notice that post was right out of Wes' "muddy the waters, act "reasonable" by acting questions" mafia playbook (when you see Wes asking questions during a mafia game, go get your gun  ;D).  I'm sure I'm not the only one to find it interesting that you went from calm to "sneering sarcasm" in the time it took me to post "as you wiiiiiiiiiiiiiish"

 

I also have yet to see a single other interpretation of the "where is my brother" post that makes sense.  What do you think it was?

 

Deflecting with sarcasm without attempting to make an actual analytical point isn't going to win you many innocent points, you realize.

We'll find out whether I do or don't have 3 of the 4 or 5 mafia nailed during Loki's recap; until then, I have no clue.  Would be pretty amazing if I did.  There's always the chance that I'm wrong . . . but its not as if I have any better information to work with, so I may as well go with what I'm seeing.

Heh - wasn't suggesting we lynch you.  Obviously, we'd take out the one we have real reason to believe is linked, not any less obvious suspects.  Besides, I wouldn't want to detract from the eye candy. :D

It’s a restless night as you erect little Tps around your surprisingly comfortable reclining chairs. Shadows pass in the night strangely carrying curtains - in a menacing manner. Seeing the shadow, some feel a cold shadow, and even some killers choose this night to stay in the cosy Tps.  The one carrying the curtains however, reaches his destination, and a loud scuffle breaks out.  The wildly wrestling players roll into slumbering others, and an altercation breaks out.

As a golden sun rises speedily, and a golden light flows like treacle over the vista, some say due to the strong magical field in the area, you find yourselves holding fists drawn back and hands on anothers throat. You all sheepishly relax and slouch back to the table for a morning coffee amidst the torn and tattered remnants of a pair of flowery drawstring curtains. Obviously someone was watching out for them. This time.

Perhaps you could explain to me (and everyone else) what possible benefit the mafia could get out of sending me on a Day 1 kamikaze mission to take out two innocents?

 

Or how about this: you agree to lynch Halima and Moridin right after me, and get 6 other people to make the same promise, and I'll put the killing vote on myself.

 

I said it before and I'll say it again - lynch Halima, Moridin and me, and the worst case scenario is the town loses three innocents, the best case scenario is the town loses only one.  That's a good risk for the town.

 

Just be careful - if you make that promise, then break it, it will be a bold font, flashing lights, skywritten announcement that you are scum.  So . . . willing to make the deal?

By the way, I'm fairly certain that the doc has figured this out already (if there is one), but just in case:

 

Dear doctor: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES REVEAL.  [glow=red,2,300]NOT EVEN TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING LYNCHED[/glow]

 

Since there's no coroner finder, the mafia will never know if the doctor is dead unless the doctor reveals.  That means that once our cop reveals, the mafia will need to choose between taking the chance of having the kill blocked or taking the definite kill on someone else every single night. 

 

With any luck, this will let our cop survive to give us more info than we would get otherwise.

 

All of this goes out the window, of course, if the doctor reveals to save themselves from being lynched - then the mafia knows that once the doc is gone, the cop is unprotected.

 

So again, don't reveal even to save yourself a lynching.  Not how it would get played in a standard game, but in a no-coroner game, its pretty much required.

There's a role-thief active in the game.  Here's my latest PM from Loki (which will confirm my status as an innocent as far as the role-thief is concerned, the rest of you will still have to wonder if I'm making it up):

I'm actually inclined to agree with Mordeth here on the leading around part. I'm not liking it too much either.

 

But then, we have Halima who hasnt defended herself against the PM's which actually pretty much said straight out that she's mafia. I think I'm going to hold my vote until she's defended herself, or at least posted something having to do with trying to make herself look less guilty.

 

Also, I have it as a general rule for myself to never really believe random PM's like the one Taim just gave us there. I know Loki, and I could write like him if I wanted. Tehre's no rule against making stuff up here.
