Trolling for Trollocs (Funny)

Please could someone arrange for RJ to read this....It is a funny little story from our Saturday Night WOT RPG game "The Way of The Wheel." We found it really funny and we hope he does to.

 

To RJ, We, The Way of the Wheel Role-playing group from bellingham, Washington, want whole heartedly thank for this wonderful world you have created and we have had the oppurtunity to gallavant around (and on occaision burn down...).

Our Party consists of a Woodman from the Black Hills (MacGuyer), An Ogier Gardener (Random Task), An Ogier Mapmaker (Twiggmore), a foot solider from the War of Power (Hair-trigger Hendrix), An Andoran Woodsman (William),Two Thieves (Captain Jack and the Rastaman), and two Asha'men (Dorian and Rahma). As of recently we have been exploring the ruins of a war of power research complex deep inside the spine of the world south of Tarwin's Gap.

 

"We Call this instance, Trolling for Trollocs"

 

We entered a room and while the thieves were searching the room for valuables and traps, we heard what we thought was a large party of soliders, dreadlords,and trollocs. We set up this great trap using some stun grenades that we locked in the stasis box with Hair-Trigger Hendrix. This went off well and we were able to deal with most of them, by set this off. Afterwards we wanted to search down the hallway from winst the party that we had just dealt with.

So we decide to tie a length rope around Macguyer's waist and send him around the corner while hair-trigger hendrix held the other end of the rope. The plan was to yank him back if there was something not good happened.

MacGuyer heads around the corner and encounters a group of trollocs and a dreadlord surrounding a portal stone. Unfortunately he fails his fear check against the Dreadlord's evil aura and stands there stunned.

About this time, Hair-Trigger Hendrix, gets bored and decides that MacGuyer has been gone too long. he ties the other end of the rope around his waist and arranges to use Twiggmore as a pulley and runs down the hallway, shocklance in hand.

As Hair-Trigger Hendrix heads down the hallway, MacGuyer is being pulled back up the hallway and well the trollocs failed thier intelligence checks and followed MacGuyer's stunned form out to the rest of us, which we did the light's work to by slaughtering them.

So, effectively Trolling for Trollocs. We were ROTFLOAO! and we thought you may find it as funny as we did.
