Yup, and he made it look so reasonable to be anti-Dude ahh *shakes head*

 

And evils, how/when did you come up with your plan to fake claim?

 

Honestly, before the game started I saw Alys' post about weird roles being in the game and thought "Oh, if I'm evil I am so totally claiming to be an insane/paranoid finder".  Then I showed up as an innocent and said "meh, guess not"

 

When I got Alys' PM telling me I was evil, I suggested it and everyone else jumped on it.  We picked Jelly because we figured people would be more naturally suspicious of me or Sirayn.  Plan was to draw out the finder and discredit him by the tried and true "this play makes no sense for the mafia" method.  With the Dude hanging back, we would have been better off sacrificing one of our own - once the lynchee was confirmed as mafia, Jelly would have been untouchable.

 

The only thing I would have changed is been more careful to make sure that Jelly gave accurate results for an insane finder except on herself - if it had come down to the Dude, Jelly and a third on the last day of the game, the Dude's slip probably would have gotten him lynched.  But we were unclear about whether to make her paranoid or insane until it was too late  :-[
