Caemlyn Carnival - Bubble of Evil Burst

Rightio, the bubble has now burst here http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2587 and the spit has hit the fan. Heres the stuff to know before you post.

 

 

a) Undead are like they were alive. Those who are all bones are a bit weaker but faster, those who are more whole are a bit stronger but not as fast. Roughly, use your creativity :) Anyone who is killed around you will arise shortly after as the undead.

 

b) Rats are going to burst from different people around the place as are other vermin. They'll be a bit of a distraction for the undead, so expect to see rats trying to feed on the dead.

 

c) Penants, ropes, streamers and such shall animate in particular, but anything can.

 

d) Its going to be hard to see. The lightning in this respect is going to be your saviour as long as you aren't hit by it :) The flashes will help you see whats going on.

 

e) If you didn't arrive before the Bubble burst, you can write yourself as having arrived beforehand still.

 

f) If you want to write an NPC dying from their perspective, or struggling to survive or whatnot, go for it.

 

g) If you still want to do something that isn't listed amongst the main things to happen (undead, vermin, stuff animating, lightning etc), just pm me or catch me on MSN about it and I'll still give the go ahead for it.

 

h) As I wrote the bubble bursting, somethingoccured to me. After initially running, it'll most likely end up very last standish. To even it up, you'll find the undead are fighting each other as much as they are you. Otherwise we'd all be very very dead :)

 

Anyone for a last stand around Dilora's wagon? :D

 

i) Dig in and have fun :D Technically we should end on the 21st, but we'll probably run a day or so over.

 

 

 

EDIT: Silhouette/Suraya/Bren reminded me after reading this that I forgot something, fire creatures. She's going to post the first one being formed, as it was her idea, but after that, a few of them will be running about.

 

Interestingly enough, despite the rain the fire elementals aren't put out. At the same time they can't start forest fires because its raining. They'll be grappling people (as well as undead) to kill/burninate/broil them.

I'm opening up the ability to write an NPC to anyone. Even if you aren't part of the Freelanders Division but would like to have a bit of a go at the RP, take a stab. As long as your char isn't the dragon reborn, armed with a thousand power wrought knives, in possession of a shocklance or somesuch, it should be all good :) If you know someone outside the div that'd be interested, be sure to invite them along.

 

I do reserve the right to edit though if I have to in order to keep the RP on the right tracks. On the otherhand I'm a lazy git, so don't expect me to do so unless its something serious enough to have my knuckles caned :)

 

And no, you will not need to write up a bio to post the NPC. Pfft to that. That is on the otherhand why I've pointed out the edit powers :) You guys all know what you're doing though, so should all be good.

 

 

EDIT: Someone asked me this on MSN so I'm just going to clarify now. You don't 'have' to kill off the NPC in your first post, they just need to be dead by the end of the RP :)
