Re Gaidal Cain: recall the Spider's ``prediction'' to Birgette that she will weep alone forever. But how can this be? Both will end up back in T.A.R. to be spun out again at some later time in the proper way, yes? 

 

That is questionable because of the way Birgitte left TAR. We cannot predict her future with surety.
