Randland???

Ok, sorry to ask the stupid question but I've not read the series in a while and can't remember anything about "Randland" I have no idea what its refering too and couldn't find it on the search so if anyone would care to guide me in the correct direction I'd be much obliged.

"Randland" is a word fans came up with long ago, for the part of the world we mostly read about, ie from the west coast to the Spine. All other parts have names, like Seanchan, the Aiel Waste etc, so someone back in the days felt the need for a name for "our" little part of the world, and thus Randland came about.

Often you'll hear "Randland" used in reference to the entire WOT universe and the area where the story takes place as the "Westlands"
