A newbie question

Can y'all fill me in please on what I should know, and what I have to do, to get started with the RP here? The system has me a tad confused.

k, if you are here to rp, go to the rp boards and ask one of the mods there. it should be stickied. also, i seem to recall there is a sticky in the newb boards for that. edit: better yet, go to the rp discussion forum. there is alot of information there. and feel free to visit the rest of us.
