and as morraine told perrin once, the wheel is neither good nor evil, a ta'veren  who joins the shadow would stay a ta'veren

Not necessarily. According to RJ, while it is possible for a DF to become ta'veren, it is extremely unlikely. The same should go for staying ta'veren after jumping ship.

While it isd true that the Wheel in neither good nor evil, it is quite interested in self-preservation, and the shadow threatens the very existence of the Wheel, at least during those times when the DO is about to break free.

I have to disagree on your statement "it is quite interested in self-preservation", you make it sound like the wheel is self aware when it a is a force, like gravity.      I think it just tries remain in balance, just like the atmosphere achieves to maintains a balance. If the wheel cared it could just woven out the dark one in the interest of self preservation, no dragon needed.

While the Wheel is not self aware in the sense that we usually hear, it is what RJ describes as a "fuzzy logic device that uses feedback to correct what it is doing in order to do it in the most efficient way".

Since ta'veren is a part of the Wheels self-correcting mechanism, created to correct the drift of the Pattern, there is a bult-in interest in self-preservation. Kinda comes weith the job, without the Wheel, the Pattern is screwed.

Most likely not. Look at his healing in TDR. When he wakes up afterwards he starts thinking about leading the Red Eagle into battle. That's typically not something a king does. And if we are to connect the Band to one of his previous incarnations, the original Band was formed to protect the king (among other things).

i must say i have to 100% disagree with you, hawking led his armies in battle, easar of shienar does. So did Aemon, he died on the field. So did numerous other kings. In those times it was normal for a leader to fight alongside the troops. In another memory that manetheren is at war with a nation i cannot recall. There is specific mention of the king leading his men in battle.
