As you've probably gathered by now, I'm new on these here forums. I'll introduce myself better here than I did on the other one though :P: I'm living in Australia, but I'm English, I'm theoretically a student at Melbourne Uni, just I don't study much (or at all) and spend most of my free time at uni reading the WoT books, and I'm 18. If you're REALLY interested, the rest is in my profile I imagine. Anyways, I'm sure I'll have fun here :D

Hello!!! It is always good to see a fellow Brit, even if you are half way around the world! I hope you are having fun with University down in Oz! I certainly am over here in London! :D Plus it is good you can read the books! I unfortunately had to leave mine back at home. :(

If you want to make new friends, visit the ORGs here (I highly recommend the Band of the Red Hand if you like music and fun! No bias there at all! *nudge nudge wink wink*). If you want to make a character and act his roles in a WoT World, head on down to the RP boards! And if you just want to boost your post count, head off to Fiddlesticks to spam to high heaven! And there is nothing stopping you from doing all 4!!!!

Wow, so many questions and such to answer. Firstly, thank you all muchly for the welcome :D.

 

Urlosenged doesn't mean anything really. There is a slight story behind it, and if you want to know, I can tell it, but right now I'm feeling lazy. And I'm currently halfway through Crossroads of Twighlight so I shouldn't have to worry too much about spoilers.

 

I don't say crikies, or crikey, or any variant of it either :P. I was just looking at the RPing thing last night, that looks pretty interesting. If only I was creative enough to think up a character! Or decisive enough to decide what that character will be. I'll probably try everything on here out though, seeing as I spend way too much time on this internet thing. Oh, and I'm sure I'll manage without the wet weather, I'm loving the fact that I can walk around in shorts while all the Aussies wrap up against the "cold" :lol:.

 

Anyway, thankee all for saying hello to me, makes me feel all welcomed. And no, I haven't quite got the hang of this "paragraphing" lark just yet.

As far as interests go, I'm a pretty simple person; I mainly like reading, looking round the net, talking on msn, and sports. My favourite characters (from the WoT books anyway) are probably Mat and Nynaeve, but I can't really say why because I'm not even sure myself.

There's a good chance that brit was me :D I emigrated here with my family 3 and a bit years ago now, I'm still fully English though.

Yeah, my life is pretty much over here now. It's a great place to live. I think I'll stay here no matter what, because at the moment it's unknown whether my dad's company will keep us here, or they want us back in England, or whatever. I'm hoping we'll have permanent residency before anything drastic happens, so I'll be able to stay forever :D those poor Australians, stuck with me.
