I have really never hear of needing to not counter-claim a false claim. It seems to me you have created a dragon breathing fire down our necks rather than a dragonfly , and your activity in pursuing a claimed healer's lynch, seems a little too over zealous, and the evidence a little too contrived.

I've given up my account so "easily" because fact is, not being who I am has caused you all think that I'm evil, gonna just be me from now on if i live through this^^ before i go I'll clear up some things but this will be it for the next 9 hours.

 

Semi: the problem was threefold:

- how it was communicated to you (why did you threw naeann in it??)

- you were very late in getting why the real healer shouldn't reveal

- if you are who I'm quite sure you are, you're smarter than you play.

 

Semi: why are you playing differently? I seem to have a whole in my memory where that's supposed to be.

I'm playing differently because I wanted to see how it would be to play different for once. The fact that I'm the healer also made me believe that laying low in thisgame would be god. thats why I made like 3 posts before being voted for and this all came out^^

 

if I'm still alive by tonight, I'll post the rest of the game as semi, and would prefer to be refered to as such^^

I'm willing to wait for Barmy to appear, but I'll go offline soon, and won't be back for a long time. That's why I have already voted.

 

There's 3 possibilities:

 

1) Barmy backs Semi up: no one else is gonna vote her, and she won't get harmed by the one vote left (mine).

2) Barmy doesn't back Semi up: night can fall sooner, since one less vote is needed to lynch her.

3) Barmy says he won't say anything: I'm voting Semi for the last two of the three reasons given above. There's just no one else I see a reason voting for.

To clarify: Alignments will be revealed upon death, roles will not be. Vem is correct, It was something that I felt safe to answer outside of the thread, as I had intended to put that into my initial post. Of course, being the super smart evil genious (spelling?) that I am, I forgot.

Playing catch up because you guys forgot how to go crazy and went on a typing spree.

 

this is what i said some pages far back, and  was fishing for barm to reveal that information to all of us

 

He said he would not, and by this, you can assume there are some devious roles out there right now. This is usually a revelation that should scare both teams.

You are not. Unless the mod removes this restriction.

 

Another point why would an evil reveal as a healer?

 

As bait. The healer is useless once they are revealed. They have to self-heal to block attacks. Of course, the killers know this, which means that a revealed healer can heal else where as well, but a skilled player also knows that and would still try to hit the healer every so often. That takes us to the conundrum. Does the healer self-heal to avoid being a sacrifice or does the healer heal a random player in an attempt thwart the killers? Both sides would be asking this.

 

Also, if the symp were to be caught in a lynch this is a perfect ploy. The finder cannot reveal so early with the nights results. Even if it comes later in the game, with only alignment reveals, the symp comes up innocent. This lends a hand to end-game killer voting blocks. It can throw the whole game out the window. A smart healer cannot reveal for reasons stated in the first paragraph, and by the end, has no credibility for that same reason. The healer would just have to die by that point, or become useless, not to mention the infighting over the matter.

 

My point being, finder, don't reveal until you get an evil, preferably two unless you are about to die. Real healer, if Semi isn't, don't reveal. Just play as our secret boon the way you are supposed to.

If you look back at the double blind game, you can see where anyone without a role or instructions would have had no idea what was going on. I think Barm has added to that formula, and made this game even more confusing. I'll bet we won't even get the hang of it until at least half way through, all to Barm's delight.

 

That is the only reason I can see for Semi to act like that and draw so much unwanted attention.

 

I believe that Semi has a role, and that role caused a little overexcitement. I am not convinced it is healer.

I believe that Semi tried to be sly and throw people off on his identity, then tried to cover for mistakes.

I am confused over how a healer wound up revealing when a simple apology would have shifted attention and votes away from any player. There are many ways to avoid a lynch before revealing your role, and Semi has enough experience to have known that.

 

I would also like to see posts from those who have stayed on the sidelines. I am not certain that Semi is evil, but I know that evils tend to stay out of the way during a bandwagoned lynch. A few have not even posted during the entire exchange.

A lot has happened I see....

 

Ouch healer reveal on first day.  We have some bad luck.  REAL HEALER (if not Semi) I agree with everyone don't reveal!  

 

I am going to reread the thread and see if there is anyone who stands out.
