I'ld even say the opposite. Those overacting and those underacting in confusion are LESS likely to be evil, since evil has to think at every post, and will probably post exactly the correct amount of confusion (if such exists). Moggy, Ill turn my attention to your posts next. EDIT: I found nothing to remark on.

Mog, how does Semi saying that she wasn't aware of any abnormalities in her role constitute proof that there were none? If she was a crazy healer who killed her target instead of protecting them, she would not have been told. That's rather the point, you see.

My point is, rather, that she posted as she understood it. Not an unassailable no, but not as she understood it.  Now, if it were not a normal healer role, why would she have called it normal?

The two choices I see are Vemmy was not the healer or another role won out with the self heal. I believe another role won out, though the other is a strong possibility.

Hmm, you have a point. Barm said roled players would be informed if he was withholding information. So Vemirhage was either lying about being healer, lying about the degree to which he was certain that the healer role was normal in order to not complicate things when he was still in the path of a lynch, or another role had something to do with it.

 

An evil vig with the ability to pass healer protection makes sense. And as for using it so early, why would you not use it early when the healer was already out? Use it now, your team gets a free shot at the cop the moment they appear as well as never having to second-guess the healer every night. It accounts for the two kills. I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote Bel'al[/glow] while I think it over, though I may regret that later.

Not petty? I'm sorry, but your previous comments, if any thing are the petty ones. Not only are you ill-informed as to the nature of spam, and also your definition is wrong. Asking people (who it must be said  were barely spamming at all, and IMO much less than a normal mafia game) to not spam.  Now that's useless, as many of longstanding players are from Fiddlesticks, it is not likely to happen. Notice the use of 'useless', not 'spam'. Spam is the friendly banter, that softens the longer posts , and can lead to slips or twitches that can reveal alignments, hardly useless, and it helps the flow of the game.

So as Moghedien has shown, spam is not 'pointless' at all is it?, also, amongst other things, I believe that to advocate not spamming would be harmful to the game, but also, and more importanly, how much fun it is. And my vote, (Sorry Mesaana I'm a very slow typer..and had to edit out some of the bile as well) was made not purely on the spur of the momment, but perhaps my 'petty' dislike for what you propose did push me over the edge. However as I believe that there is still enough evidence (hence the assumpions, as in earlier ones as well) in my mind to suspect as well as the danger you pose to the innocent team with your views, so you my vote stands, at least until I do a re-read.

It doesn't matter why Semi died, the important thing is whether there is another healer out there or not, I am inclined to believe so on the basis that there must be atleast one real healer out there which Vemy in one way or another clearly was not.

 

We have to remeber that Orsan'gar may of been a/the cop, in which case we MAY be both screwed and copless. Just something to keep in mind.

 

BTW Be'lal, assuming only 1 NK on the first night is a VERY big assumption...

That is how it begins. Then, before you know it, their grades in school have slipped, they are hanging out with a rougher crowd, and they won't listen to anything you say.  Trouble with the law is sure to follow. All of this could have been avoided if only you would have thought twice about having that argument. Remember, its not the ones you yell at that get hurt the worst.

And let us also remember that there is a line somewhere between ideal levels of Spam and Spam that just totally obfusticates (NOTE: Obfusticate: exactly the same definition as obfuscate, but wins out in terms of the sheer joy derived from saying it) the actual game.

On a game note, SemiVemy has made a point to mock us and Barm is laughing with him, feeling comfortable enough to tell us there was/is no crazy healer type role. What does everyone make of that? Maybe instead of claiming your top suspects, everyone could at least post what they think SemiVem's and Barm's posts hint at.  Inactive players are starting to worry me!

Vemy know's nothing. Don't get any idea's. Letting out that the role isn't a part of the game was a slip on my part. I had actually forgotten that I had until Moggy mentioned it here in the thread. Posting about mine and Vem's posts will do nothing for you, particularly since in my scenes, names are drawn at random and put in.

ROFLLOLOLOOOOLOL, so? It was never mentioned because it's not important. The object of the game is eliminating the alts, not who is behind them. Unless of course you would like to make it a big deal...I'm totally cool with things being blown out of proportion.  ::)

Demandred had to bow out, so Barmy asked me to fill in for him. So all the posts at the beginning were totally not me, and I stepped in somewhere in the middle. If this is a big deal to you, tough cookies. :P

 

Asmo: Again, I reiterate: READ the ACTUAL words I posted. I never said I didn't like all and any spam. If you had read what I said (and I'm paraphrasing), I said that some spam is fine, and even funny. What I hate is people who log on, and spam a whole bunch, instead of focusing on the game itself. And I'm sorry, but in the games that I have participated in, many of the mafia turned out to be those who were quiet, or those who posted a lot, but nothing of much worth to the game. If you want to get bent out of  shape about it, go for it. I was just saying how I felt. I never expected anyone to agree, or even listen to me. And seriously, making a big deal because a person doesn't care for spam in a game like this is a little extreme, dontcha think? IRL I happen to really like spam, and do it regularly. :P 

 

As for the whole Semi thing, there isn't much else I have to say about it. He was either lying or he wasn't. If he was lying, yay for us! If he wasn't lying, well, we are in the same situation we were in 5 minutes ago, and I really for the life of me can't think of any other potential explanations. When it comes to a game like this, the sky is really the limit.

I haven't had time to go back and read anything lately and now I'm really lost.

 

Anyway if there was no switching and Moggy was just playing with us then that's not cool :(

As a matter of a fact I find that kind of strange and to me it seems suspicious that you would just go ahead and do that just for a joke.  Not enough to make me think of you as evil but something that caught my eye none the less.  You are definitely on my list as of now.

 

On top of this I really don't believe Be'lal is evil.  Even though he seems to be more inactive now I think his reasoning was sound the first day.  Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of info. from the kills that night so now we are kinda stuck again.

 

I would also be happy if people would let the whole spam thing drop.  I don't want to read about how spamming is good or bad anymore.  Spam if you want and ignore it if you don't want to.

 

Sorry I guess yo estoy enojado or something.
