Blood drips onto the top of your forehead, you look up to see Osan’gar staring at you, eyes covered in the film of death. Shuddering you immediately run to Semirhage’s room to yell at her for taking her enjoyment of pain too far… and you stop, gasping in horror. Semirhage’s eyes have been gouged out with what looks to be some 30 or 40 dixie cup’s. Blood draining from your face, you shiver in terror, before you start trying to climb the walls.

 

Semirhage and Osan’gar, both innocent, are dead. It is now day 2. With 16 player’s alive, it takes 9 to lynch.

Highlight the words.

Change the color of the words.

Highlight all of the coding and the words.

If Vemirhage was innocent then we can assume he wasn't lying about being roled or he would have just copped the lynch quietly. So did we lose our healer or some other role about which we may never know?

And why the two kills? Osan'gar doesn't surprise me, since some people were terribly obvious about speculating over their identity. But who killed Sem? Is it possible that Sem was unknowingly a crazy healer who killed whoever they targetted? If so, we're lucky he decided to self-protect on night one. But what else are we in for? I don't think we can discount the possibility of a crazy cop either (one who gets the opposite result, or similar affliction).

In future, any role reveals must treated with an eye to determining that the roles work as advertised as much as determining the authenticity of the claimant.

 

Okay, now tell me what the heck is going on with the 'switch'.

I believe that, yes, Vemerhage may have been the healer. I also believe that there is an assassin out. I think this satisfies Occam's Razor much more easily than an oddball role. Not to mention, I asked Barmy about those two specifically the day they were suggested. He was not evasive. He flat out said no.

There have been some assassin roles that were not able to be blocked by self healing. It could have been one of those. Or you could be a lying symp who lied.

I don't know whether to be impressed by Barm's imagination or sickened at the thought of it....

 

Ok I was of the personal opinion that Semi was the healer but if he was and there isn't any of the previously mentioned crazy roles (as Moggy says) then in my opinion he must have been assassinated and Osan'gar was night killed.

 

If he was either a lying symp or a lying innocent then they could have been killed either way.

 

Admittedly I am new at mafia games so is there any other crazy roles (not disproved by Barm) out there?

 

On a side note, is it just me or does it seem like everyone received a little bit of information about the game from Barm ahead of time?  I know he's popular but c'mon.  I didn't get anything.

I have posted a thought on this. He may not have truely been the healer. He could have been the symp. A symp shows innocent for alignment simply because it cannot night kill, nor do the guilty know the symp.

 

Aside from this possibility, there is one other I can think of. The assassin may be able to kill despite self-healing. I have seen the ability before.

 

Any info you wish to ask may be asked of the mod, Mesaana. It is his choice to answer or demure. I was simply pointing this out.

It's funny, but the old adage "trust no-one" seems to have a greater meaning than ever before.  And there's a twist?  I guess I'm not surprised.  Seems like anything is possible in this game.

Not nice, and Semi gone, either he was a liar and said that to get out of the lynch or he was and was assinated/night killed and had his healer bit blocked???

 

Oh and I had to ask what dixie cups were, so he was gouged with paper cups...

 

It also looks like people were asked to switch roles last night, no I wasn't and no I haven't spoken to Barmy, but Moggie gave it away...maybe 6 people were asked if they wanted to switch roles?!
