Laila is not a Darkfriend...

I have seen confirmation that Laila is not a darkfriend.  But, should she be?  I'm curious what y'all think might be the reverberations a retcon like this might have for Perrin's (tv show) story.

Do you think it could be part of a more interesting Perrin story, for Laila to be a darkfriend?  Would it break Perrin's tv story arc, or would it be just as unnecessary as Perrin being married in the first place, haha?

Taim was not Demandred in the end, so changing minds midstream has some precedent, and so I'm wondering how y'all feel about it.
