Feb

- False Dragon Dramon Calgar founds the Black Tower in Saldea.

 

- False Dragon Jaron Alainin is captured by the White Tower.

 

June

- A Forsaken takes over leadership of the Black Tower.

 

- The Asha'man are marched to Tear in an attempt to take Callandor, arrive at the same time as the Dragon Reborn.

 

1000 NE

Jan

- The Dragon Reborn, Jarron al'Tanin , declares himself and takes leadership of the Asha'man / Black Tower. Amnesty is declared for all men who can channel. Dalinarius Traachenshield is appointed as M'Hael.

 

June

- The Dragon Reborn is kidnapped by Aes Sedai. A hunt and rescue force of Asha'man, DM Aiel and Aes Sedai is formed and sent to his rescue.

 

- Black Tower and Band of the Red Hand become allies due to the Band's alliance with the Dragon Reborn. BT representatives stationed with the Band use their skills with the One Power to provide assistance in Traveling, military endeavours and completion of the Band's Citadel.

 

July

- Asha'man, DM Aiel and Aes Sedai successfully free the Dragon Reborn from his Aes Sedai captives and defeat the Shaido Aiel who are also trying to kidnap him at Dumai's Well.

 

Aug

- Illian is freed by the Dragon Reborn with Black Tower and Band forces. Ja'veren, the Chosen who ruled Illian, is killed and the remaining shadowspawn and darkfriends are driven out. The Dragon Reborn receives Illian's allegiance.

 

- Andor is freed from the Forsaken that ruled it. 

 

Sept

- The White Tower send an expedition in search of the Farm. Battle ensues, resulting in the death or capture of all involved Aes Sedai and leading to a coup within the Black Tower leadership. 

 

- ?? Forsaken Anginor infiltrates the BT? This is mentioned in 1000 NE, Sept. Point 55. BT: The Watchers) ?  Is this a second infiltration, or the same mentioned in 999 NE, June??

 

Oct

- Brent Enios, the new M'Hael, secures a peace agreement with the White Tower. The presence and equality, of the Asha’man and their Black Tower is acknowledged.

Aes Sedai, bonded against their will, are subsequently released to return to the White Tower.

 

Nov

- The Black Tower attempts to retake Shienar and Arafel but fails and is forced to retreat.

 

- The Dragon Reborn orders the Black Tower to forge a stronger alliance with the White Tower.

 

Dec

- ??Brent Enios goes mad and dies?? The 'Guardian Council' becomes the new ruling body of the BT?

 

- Voluntary bonding between Asha'man and Aes Sedai begins/is allowed.

 

A delegation is sent to Tar Valon to meet with the Amyrlin. A new agreement is struck between the Asha'man and the Red Ajah, both sides agreeing to bond each other as warders. The agreement is secret at first, but soon leaks out to the White Tower at large. Bonding between Asha'man and Sedai of any Ajah is allowed
