Tune or No Tune: August Edition

Well, my introduction to that song came from this kid's cover of it, which is entirely different, and I was like, "That's a catchy little tune, and I like the creepy stalker part about slitting open the screen door and dropping by unannounced; what does the original sound like?" And then I was like, "OMG, no!" And THEN, I started to think the kid was exceptionally creative for taking a song she obviously likes and doing the exact opposite with it, but yeah, that's how I heard of that song.

We have different tastes, that's all. You are far more avant-garde than I am, and that's okay. There is room enough for all tastes and lots of artists to satisfy them.

 I might not leave you all alone when throwing bricks through a Starbuck's window, but once I've loaded up on Cafe Verona, I can't say as there's much point in sticking around any longer.

Not working for me, i'll say no tune.

how can I say, ... it's not melodic enough? lol

Ok well.

The other song I wanted to post is going to get panned across the board.

Rather than going with something really weird that I love but will get a bad reception

Let's just try my favorite song of all-time

There's a catch to it too. It clocks in at just over 70 minutes.

I'm just going to share a 15 minute snip that contains the climax. That's still pretty long to expect anyone to listen to, but o_o; just try to do it. If you must skim it, move forward in slow gaps so you don't miss when the distortion kicks in.

It might help to think of this song as a concept album. If the parts before this advance from a light rain to a thunderstorm to a break in the downpour, think of this track as when the dam finally breaks and washes away everything completely.

I can picture myself listening to that kind of music while I am drawing or reading. It sounds more like background music for me (yeah I like to sing along stuff ) and I also think that the sound really matches the description you wrote (light rain to thunderstorm and such).

Can I just stay neutral and not choose between tune and no tune ?
