Knife of Dreams is currently the #1 best-selling book in the United States. The report came from Tor today that the NEW YORK TIMES reported KoD as being at the top of their list. Some more details :
Most of the books in the WoT series have been gone #1 on the list when they came out.
It is expected that KoD will be #1 on the London Times as well, but that's still speculation on our part.
Congratulations, RJ!
Update: There apparently was a snafu of some sort on the early release. The auction and the bookstore website now say the auction will be cancelled and a new one started with delivery on October 11.

Audio Renaissance plans to release the Knife of Dreams audio book in October 2005. Hardly a surprise, but now it's semi-official. Books in Print lists two ISBNs with that date, 1-59397-765-4 as Knife of Dreams audio cassette priced at $69.95 and 1-59397-766-2 as Knife of Dreams audio cassette priced at $41.95. Our best guess is that the pricier one is actually the CD. As of this morning neither Amazon.com nor Barnes&Noble has them listed yet.

Last August, Variety reported that Universal Pictures and Red Eagle Entertainment had acquired the rights to THE EYE OF THE WORLD and intended to adapt it into a major motion picture. At the time, there was been a pretty intense fan reaction to this news: both excited and hesitant. In order to find out what was really going on, and in order to a clear idea of where things were going, we sat down with Rick Selvage from Red Eagle and asked him some questions that were on everyone's mind.

It would be an understatement to say that a lot has happened since Knife of Dreams. It's been nearly four years since the release of what Robert Jordan believed was going to be his penultimate novel in The Wheel of Time series, and nearly two years since he passed away. Two very long years. But the Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills. The story is not yet done, and there is more to be told. Much of Robert Jordan's life was tied to these books, and it was important to him, I believe, to see them do
