First of all, thank you to everyone who has repsonded to the news and blog posts in regards to Robert Jordan's announcement about his Amyloidosis diagnosis. It just proves that his readership is full of caring individuals.
I've spoken a little more with RJ about what's going on. Here's what he said:

Robert Jordan wrote a letter to Locus Magazine yesterday stating that he has been diagnosed with amyloidosis and will begin treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. We don't think it would be appropriate to elaborate or speculate at this time, but please read his letter.

I had hoped to be a little more focused with this and get a post up here before anything came out in Locus, or anywhere else public, so you would get it first, but I flat forgot that Charles has his on-line version of Locus now, too. The orginal unabridged versions of A Crown of Swords and The Path of Daggers published by Books on Tape occasionally show up on the secondary market but they are uncommon and expensive. We'll update you whenever we learn more!

Today marks the first day of our 13 Days of Christmas. Yes, I know that the "normal" 12 Days of Christmas start on Dec. 25th, but we don't do things like every one else.

Very often we receive news that somebody is interested in creating a fan-based Wheel of Time game. One group is getting organized about it and has some documentation and forums set up. They are actively seeking developers and artists. If you're interested in learning more, follow the link below.

On Monday, December 12th, Dragonmount will launch a 13 day event called The 13 days of Christmas. Each day we'll release a little something special to help celebrate the holidays. What that "something" is will have to wait until Monday. You can RAFO. :)

Well, I've recovered from the tour, gotten a little work done on A Memory of Light, and I'm slowing down for the Thanksgiving descent of family on the house. And our descent on various other relatives. You know how it goes. So I thought I'd post a short one.
Thanks for the CD, Deadsy. I liked it. It seems very reminiscent of Pentangle at times, but then a lot of groups do. I saw an article somewhere or other that claimed Pentangle had more influence on the music that followed than the Beatle
In an article about modern fantasy novels, USA TODAY mentioned Dragonmount and quoted yours truly. Although they spelled my name wrong.... (Grrrrr)
