Yeah, the “Wheel” concept is brilliant, even if it bends real-world history a bit. And I agree about Herid Fel - he felt like he had more to offer. It does make you wonder if RJ had bigger plans but just ran out of narrative space, especially with how much focus went to side plots in the middle books.
