  1. Cadsuane never had children. Everything else seems right. I guess if you'll probably outlive your children and grandchildren it can be a bit off-putting to having kids. It reminds me of the witches in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, where the witches have children with mortal men but if its a boy the kid dies and the witch long outlives them.
  2. Also he sees that Wolfbrother in Ghealdan and hes afraid of losing himself like that becoming an actuall wolf in a man's body.
  3. I thought he would pretend to come across them escaping and kill them as a way to get rid of darkfriends. Isn't that the very conclusion Perrin comes to.
  4. Some ta'veren thing, maybe?
  5. Isn't it implied our time is the first age with some of there old stories mentioned by Thom in the first books seem to be from our time. Through according to the wiki, RJ's notes said the first ended in what sounds like an apocalyspe so your point could still be true
  6. I have never seen anything really talking much about any of the ages except the AoL and the thidr age, with hints of the first.
  7. I meant who made it highest chance for the dark one to win which is why I think its Semirhage.
  8. Which forsaken was most successful in serving the Dark One? I think Semirahage for making Rand nearly destory ebou dar and basical turn evil. Then demandred for providing the sharan armies.
  9. Yes I agree like when he resuced the drowning child in the Two Rivers, he wasn't ta'veren then.
  10. Could he have spare swords for going through places where his usual sword could bring too much attention so hes sharpening the spare? Maybe
  11. well Mat probably has been with the most women, Perrin only really had his wife.
  12. Well the majority of the population of Randland are on the side the light. So maybe there is a sort of balance.
  13. Its the turning channelers with 13 mydraal and channelers Caelan means. I see this as negative your taking away people's choice to choose good or evil. Atleast general darkfriends could have chosen served the light.
  14. maybe a wise one dreamt something bad would happen if they went through twice
  15. Isn't the ter'angreal some way related to tel'aran'rhiod?
  16. I would go with graendal for using compulsion on the great captains during LB.
  17. According to google average reading age for a 14 year old 10-11, reading age for the WOT is 14 and above. So yeah the average 14year old would struggle
  18. to me Path of daggers was actually worse than crossroads of twilight
  19. I actually like Elayne or Nynaeve but I think I started disliking Egwene when she began to argue with Nynaeve about lying after all the lying she was doing to the Wise Ones in Fires of Heaven
  20. Here are some of mine: To make the Forsaken more dangerous I would have less of them killed in the early books I'd have Rand not love Aviendha and Elayne. He can stay with Min though. I agree with you Elayne's crush on Rand does come of as teenage infatuation. Kill of Gawyn after Dumai Wells I would expand the role of Fain, not sure how but he was just such an interesting villain to me that I want to see more of him Get rid of the Perrin/Faile/Berelain love triangle At the end, I would have Rand riding of into the sunset on Bela.
  21. I use to re-read each book every time I got the next one but now I just don't have time to re-read it.
  22. The slog gets better in rereads. Also it never seemed that bad, except for some of the andoran succesion bits.
