I would have had the numbers probably in Roman Numerals on a one headed snakes body that was eating it own tail wrapping around the inside edge of the watch. With the Aes Sedai symbol occupying the middle. Even maybe allow for colored sections for a Ajah preferences as a option. Coupled with possible Dragons etched or even as the hands for the hour and minute.

I'd ask Rafe why he is piggybacking whatever this show is on the name of The Wheel of Time as it's so far off the source material that it renders it unrecognizable.

I would rather the disconnect of a new actor in the role than a weakening of the story caused by the character not being present at a potential pivotal moment. They will need a very clever work around to make this work.
