aiels are basically horse archers anyways.

first if all sensing is not the same as killing.
the aiel may have killed the greymen, but it would have been too late to stop the greymen from making the first strike. they most likely already achieved their primary objective.

first of all, rand is average at best, riatin completely owned him and lan didn't even break a sweat taking riatin out.
perrin would defeat rand easily in 1v1 hand to hand combat.
rand is 'good' just as moiraine is 'strong' amongst aes sedai.

what exactly make people believe that spears are inferior weapons in melee combat? that is so preposterous i dont' even know what to say.
and also, if you don't believe in wikipedia, then whatever. but it is a common fact that zulu IS the most commonly spoken language in south africa.

i've kicked through many things, doors, gates, bookshelves, even cracked a brick wall. never felt like my feet hurt.
even if you wear plate, it's not going to be stronger than those things, else it would be so heavy you can't even move anyways.
-
you might not be able to beat up a guy in plate with your fists, but you can sure do it with your feet, which we know the aiel are tremendously skilled with.
even if you wear a steel helmet, a kick to the head will still knock you out.

strength of channeling has nothing to do with it. if anything, the stronger channelers should die faster since they would have a greater sense of loss.

no logain could not have killed himself even if he wanted to.
he ran into min, min told him of her viewings of glory, which originated from the pattern, which gave logain a belief, a belief to keep living.
so the pattern stopped logain from killing himself, he couldn't have committed suicide.

or perhaps the finns were lucky that he didn't have some iron and music with him as well.

Yes moraine says it's extremely dangerous to ask any questions touching the shadow or any silly questions both are punished severely. That then begs the question how did rand get away with asking about the LB???
he waved around a sword made of fire.

They all knew who the heroes were. I mean, come one, they've heard of them a thousand times in stories and songs.

The Kaethren (sp?) cycle has flaws.
There are more than one "hes" in the prophecy, but they don't make it clear.
"He" here refers to Mat, not Rand.

Yeah, good posting imo, didn't see the pun there.

The word terrifying made me chuckle.

Also, if you are drawing a carriage, you need even number horses.
Why nine?

So what has that (the execution methods) got to do with the nearly naked woman?
And also, if you really want to know which is more likely to originate from the otherm, just go check up the dates when they were invented. Han dynasty is a bit old so I'll go with the Chinese.
But meh, if it was in the dark ages when France got the style, then it would ofcourse be the french first.
I wonder if the steppe tribes (eg mongols) had anything to do with it.

I phrased my question badly. I know about Aridhol and how mordeth destroyed but I meant did RJ say anywhere what mordeth was that he created Mashadar. I mean like was he modified by Ishamael to create Mashadar from Aridhol's hate and suspition but modified him little too much.
You say you know about Aridhol and the nature of Mordeth, so why you asking anything about Ishamael?

TBH, I don't recall any inconsistencies.
What was the point of Halima?
