  1. If you would, please what your current RP's are in this thread, with a link to the RP, Title, and brief description.

For the Ajah's that have current Heads, if you would consolidate and just make one post, that would make things easier!

For the Ajah's that don't have Heads, if you are just posting your own individual RP's, please indicate which Ajah you belong to so that I can keep track!

  2. I like the class option as well.  But, same as Raeyn, I'm an oldbie and that's how we did it when I was still a youngster.  It offered more opportunity to meet others and interact with others.

I'm ok with having a mentor and mentee system, but I think the mentor should be more of a person to go to for guidance instead of lessons.

Novice: "I'm having a hard time adjusting to life in the Tower, and I just can't GRASP that stupid weave they want me to do!"

Mentor "Oh, we all have a hard time adjusting at first, but if you just stick with it, you will come to view the Tower as your home and family and wonder what you ever did without it.  Now about this weave, how about if we practice it together?  Clear your mind...."

More for character development than training.  But that just may be my age speaking ;-P

  3. Jaydena has asked me to post this here so that the necessary changes can be made.  If you would be so kind, please make those changes and repost it here so that I may collect it and send it back to Jaydena!

    Thanks!!

    The Yellow Ajah

On behalf of the entire Yellow Ajah here at Dragonmount's Dragon Reborn PSW, I would like to welcome you to the White Tower. As a Novice, I am sure you are bombarded with many decisions, including who to prank, which trainees to flirt with, and last but not not least, which Ajah to join. While you still have lots of time to make this decision (and you should definately take advantage of your Novicedom!), I ask you to consider the Yellow. Why? Because not only are we the Healers of Randland, but here at DM we are able to RP more extensively than most people think.

Like the Greens, we partake in battle, usually as field medics and consultants. We value learning like the Browns, particularly now that the Hall of the Tower has declared male channelers available for study. We use this knowledge to help the Reds with their work of preventing another Breaking. Like the Grays and Blues, we try to always help people, and to do what is best for all parties involved. In this pursuit we not only use our knowledge and passion for people, but also learned Aes Sedai logic, like the Whites.

As a member of the Yellow Ajah, you would have the benefits of ALL the Ajahs, not only that of a medical doctor. Although all of the Ajahs are equally wonderful and important, I implore you to think carefully about where your character would most benefit. And while you are pondering, please don't forget the Yellows and all we have to offer.

If you should have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact a Yellow. There is currently a Yellow Ajah webpage at http://yellowajah.sapphiresanctuary.com/. And last but not least - Welcome to the White Tower and have fun!"

If you think the Yellow Ajah might be the right Ajah for you, contact Christine, Head of the Yellow Ajah (MSN: gamecox5989@hotmail.com) or visit their site .

  4. Jaydena has asked me to post this here for you guys to make the necessary changes.  Are there any Sitters/active members that want to act as a contact for new novices interested in the White Ajah?

Could you make the necessary changes and repost it here so that I may collect it and send it on to Jaydena??

    Thanks so much!

    The White Ajah

    Enigmatic.

That is possibly the first and best description that one can apply to the sisters of the White Ajah.  Inscrutable in many ways, as the smallest Ajah it is also the one that the least is known.  Their sisters maintaining a reputation for logic and pragmatic behaviour, their emotions are well disciplined.  This isn't to say that their feelings are absent, even though there are some who betray nothing there are others who are equally capable of wearing their feelings on their sleeve.  It simply means that when the time comes, they are capable of putting such aside to focus on a particular task or problem.

But, their enigmatic nature truly comes from the paradox they can present.  One moment a white sister may speak the truth more bluntly than most may care to hear, the next she may speak in such abstract terms that even her fellow sisters may be given pause to understand the meaning of what was uttered.  But one thing is prime amongst all considerations in the White, the truth.  The manner in which it is reached and where to search are for each sister to decide for themselves when they are ready.

Sisters of the White Ajah train their minds, in one way or another they train them to solve problems, questions, be they abstractly ethical or more mundane in nature.  White sisters as a result can not only apply these skills to a broad range of fields, but they particularly excel at analysis and investigation for their primary role in the search of the truth is to question.

Those who are interested in the White Ajah may PM James, the current Head of the White Ajah, in order to learn more about the White Ajah and the opportunities it presents.

  5. Jaydena asked me to post this here for y'all to review and make changes as you see fit.  I understand that Muir is no longer the Red Head due to her promotion to Ammy, so is there another Sitter or hell, I'll take a really active member, interested in being the contact for new prospective members/new novies?

If you can, please make the necessary changes and repost this here for me to collect to send on to our infamous leader.

    Thanks so much!

    The Red Ajah

The Sisters of the Red Ajah are the guardians of humanity. The Reds are at the forefront of the battle against the Shadow, doing what must be done to protect not only themselves, but everyone else. They are reviled as man-haters, as cold-hearted witches, as the cruellest of women – but this is not who they are. Look closer at the Red Ajah, and you will see… Reds love men. Not like, but love with all their hearts. They go to extreme lengths to save some of them – those poor men who can channel – from hurting themselves and others. Their Sisters feel sorrow and pity in their duties for they know that the channeller is harmed. But they know that in so doing, they are prolonging his life and ensuring that he will not destroy everyone he cares for while rotting alive.

As a Red you can do anything you choose except bond a Warder. A Red cannot know the next man she will have to gentle – and how cruel of them would it be to ask an Aes Sedai to gentle her own Warder? The Reds are selfless in purpose, forfeiting everything by becoming that which men most hate and fear, while keeping them alive. But for all the Red Ajah does their Sisters are still hated and shunned. The Reds embrace the hate and are made stronger for it. Nowhere else will you find the unity and pride of the Red Ajah.

If you think the Red Ajah might be the right Ajah for you, contact Maegan Sedai, Head of the Red Ajah (MSN: arie_designs@hotmail.com  ; email: arie_designs@gmail.com ) or visit their site.

  6. Do I REALLY need to post this here asking for you to update as necessary.....I mean since you are the one who asked me to do this in the first place LOL

    The Green Ajah

The scent of lightning fills the air and the sounds of the dying permeate the day sky. Your dress is covered in the blood of your enemies, your bones ache after hours of fighting, yet you are standing strong against the onslaught. This is the life of a sister of the Green Ajah, we stand for passion, for the last battle, and glory in the joy of life. The Green Ajah is known as the Battle Ajah - their Sisters on the front line of every fight against the Shadow. Only Greens bond more than one Warder and their constant war against the Dark One is the reason behind it. Their Sisters learn and use battle weaves and devise new ones while preparing for Tarmon Gai'don, the Last Battle. As the Ajah of Sacrifice, the Green sisters are willing to risk their own lives, and those of their Warders, to protect and help those in need. The Green Ajah stands ready.

If you think the Green Ajah might be the right Ajah for you, contact Jaydena Sedai, Head of the Green Ajah (MSN: jaydenasedai@hotmail.com; email: jaydenasedai@adelphia.net ), or visit  their site .

  7. Jaydena has asked me to post this here for y'all to make any necessary updates and changes.  I understand you don't have a Head yet, are there any Sitters/Sisters willing to be a contact for new novices/prospective members?

If you could, make the changes necessary and repost it here for me to collect to send back to Jaydena.

    Thanks so much!

The Gray Ajah Sisters are the negotiators and peace keepers of the White Tower. Gray Sisters strive for harmony, consensus and unity and in doing so we use our personal skills, our deep knowledge of law and our voice of reason to guide us. The truth is a tool we use, along with our knowledge of law, custom and personal relations. A Gray Sister has to be aware of her surroundings, every word she says can make or break a treaty and thus she is like a spider in the web and a fly on the wall overlooking it all. A Gray knows her place in any situation, she is trained to put her own feelings aside if need be to negotiate what is best for all involved, and what is best for the Tower.

One will find the Gray Sister at work as an advisor to Royalty or Houses in countries all over the world. The Gray's passion lies in Peace. She will use her knowledge of different countries and laws, as well as her skill in negotiating and mediating to attain peace. It is said that when Tar'mon Gaidon comes, the Gray will negotiate peace with the Dark One himself. A Gray Sister can be found at Court, where she can act as an Advisor or as a Judge. She will always have the role of an ambassador for the White Tower. However, she will not allow this to interfere with her work in the world. A Gray can also be found as a mediator in conflict and she could be asked to make up a contract for trade. Because of our knowledge of Tower Law, the counsel of the Gray Ajah is also sought when dealing with complicated issues regarding the internal affairs of the White Tower.

If you have any questions about the Gray Ajah, please visit the Gray Ajah Forum. And if you want to ask more about becoming a Gray, contact Phaedra Sedai, Head of the Gray Ajah (ICQ: 38067417; email: aur3lie@gmail.com ), or visit their site http://grayajah.sapphiresanctuary.com/

  8. Jaydena has asked me to post this for you to make the necessary changes for the Welcome letter that is sent out to prospective members/new novices.

If you could, update it and repost it here for me to get and send back to her.  Thanks so much!!

    The Brown Ajah

The Brown Ajah is extremely versatile. Other Ajahs may specialise but philosophers, negotiators and peace-makers can find their home in the hallowed halls of the Brown Ajah. The Browns are interested in everything and everyone, curious, eager to learn. They travel widely, studying the customs of other lands or whatever topic interests them.

Brown Aes Sedai are interested in bare facts. The Browns are dedicated to their causes but never let passion blind them. Their Sisters care not only for each other but for history, education and tradition - women who appear to care only for the next page but in reality have one foot in the past and one eye on the future.

If you think the Brown Ajah might be the right Ajah for you, contact Shaneevae OOC Head of the Brown Ajah.

  9. Our infamous DL has asked me to post this on your boards and ask for you to make any changes that need to be made.  This is for the Newsletter that goes out to prospective members/new novices.

Are there any Sitter's who would like to be a contact for new novices interested in the Blue Ajah??

The Blue Ajah is not concerned with means - their Sisters are all about goals. A Blue will gentle an Asha'man as soon as bond him, preserve some obscure knowledge as soon as obliterate it, mediate peace as soon as manipulate a bloody conflict. The Blue Ajah takes it upon themselves to involve the Tower in justice. Every Blue is knowledgeable about the world and its cultures and are well-versed in Daes Dae'mar, the Great Game. Of all Aes Sedai the Blues excel at manipulation, and their vast Eyes and Ears network is the envy of all. What makes a Sister a Blue? It is the drive, the desire, the strength to stand up for something she believes in and the will to do it no matter what.

If you think the Blue Ajah might be the right Ajah for you, contact Estel Sedai, playing Head of the Blue Ajah (Email: estelbloodyliones@gmail.com.).
