Man, SaraV always finds such great stuff that I missed. =)

There's nothing unique about it yet. It's primarily a place where you can socialize with each other. But as we add new features and let premium members have first crack at them, it'll be where we solicit feedback.

We'll have the info at the convention. It'll be in the Gaming track.

Yup, they will be selling shirts in JordanCon's Dealers Hall.
-
They will be monthly.

The signature is probably Melissa Craib's. She is the Amyrlin of TarValon.net, one of the major WoT fansites and one of the people the book is dedicated to. Harriet insisted that she sign a few copies as well when she came to get her books signed. It's kind of a neat thing.

We have a typo and errata thread going in the forums. Feel free to post this there.

The Seanchan are supposed to have Texan accents. http://wotfaq.dragonmount.com/node/164
It's still a very awesome video.

Thanks. I'll update it with her correct name. Sometimes my fingers type words that don't exist.

We've made our picks and I'm just waiting until I get permission from Tor to release names. Justin is trying to finalize some details. Sorry about the delay, but I promise its for a good reason.

We'll come up with something. Though I do like Dawn Runners.

Fewer responses to the articles is due entirely to the fact that we now require registration to respond here. It'll cut down on spam. The actual forums, which have always required registration, are going pretty strong. Your login for the comments will work across the site now, so feel free to check things out.
I know change can be a little uncomfortable at first, but most of the feedback we've gotten for the redesign is very positive.

No, your conversations will not be coming back. We're working on getting the old site up in read only format so you can reference them for a couple weeks.

I actually talked to Dot Lin about this last year. She was the publicist at Tor who set up the TGS tour.
According to her, there's a a very careful balancing act that has to take place with regarding tour stops. They need to hit the major chains like Borders and Barnes & Noble to keep them happy. They want to hit bookstores that report to the NYT Bestseller list, especially the first week of sales, because an author appearance will boost sales dramatically for that location. Not all book stores report their sales to that list. And like I said before, they try to hit the major population centers. Which is why you get so many signings on the coasts, those are the areas with the most population density in the US.
On top of that, Brandon asks to go to independent stores when possible and to go to locations he's never been before. So it's a very careful balancing act that will never, ever make everyone involved happy, least of all the author who has to get bounced around from time zone to time zone.

Tor has to send him to the major population centers.

@Randon Man Brandon JUST got home from a book tour. And last year's mega-tour was very exhausting for him. Most authors only hit between 5-6 cities on a national signing tour. This one is a short one, but I hear they are planning another big one for AMoL.

I agree! If I could find enough Helena Zeegers art still online, I'd do a FAF just on her. Her stuff was gorgeous, and I never felt like she got enough attention.
