  1. We are on a lockdown from this week too.

My husband is not actually fired but won’t be payed for next two months (at least).

I really want to be locked down at my parent’s country house so my son can play outside not in the apartment without walks for two month. But there is a cat at the house and I’m allergic to cats. So if I go I’d have health problems without any viruses let alone if I get it too.

So I’m freaking out a little bit. And that doesn’t help to make right decisions and all.

    *hugs everybody*

    Try to stay safe.

    1. This nut is a good luck symbol in Norway.  People will place them in their windowsills to protect against lightning.

    2.  This catholic Saint offers protection (or maybe good luck) to travelers.

         St. Christopher

    3.  In this country, people believe it is good luck for a bird to poop on you.

    @kukasö is #3 true?

Haha! 😄 Yes! It’s believed you’ll get money soon.

    Sorry I didn’t get here sooner. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Isn't your calendar different from the standard Western one?

    No 🙂

But it was and was changed to the Western one at the beginning of XX century. And we like holidays and celebrate both New Years 😸

.... is this something like Old Year's Eve? Celebrating the last day of the year?

What do you think why it’s 13 days after the new year began then? 🙂

I'm so glad you're doing this thread again, Kukaso! It's one of my favourites.

And I remember you asked why they don’t build roofs above the stairs to the metro stations here as the stairs are probably very slippery in Winter.

    and ta-dam!

Can you believe they’ve begun building roofs/pavilions!

    Oooh...I love the dominos!

(Btw nice to meet you, I'm your current houseguest *waves at kukasö*)

    Hello! ☺️ *waves*

Nice to meet you too! You inspired me to make this topic to show guests what I’m interested at. ☺️

One make sure there is minimal amount of dark corners and back alleys..if people can see there is less likelyhood of problems

    I absolutely agree ☺️
But then there is a question of people present even at the light wide streets.

  9. I live in Moscow so I’m very selfish in my interest in making it comfortable.

We have long and dark Winter here so I’m looking for some decisions to brighten it up (it tends to come true even if you just talk about it).

    Something I’ve found:

Pushing giant luminous and musical dominos so they fall in cascade.

    Musical light-up seesaws. ☺️

  10. Hi, everybody!

I just decided to recreate this topic. I think it had some interesting things in it and deserves reincarnation ☺️

I’ll post here some interesting decisions that make cities more comfortable, friendly and fun ☺️
The city where people spend time in the streets is the safe city after all.

Everybody’s welcome to join, discuss and post whatever you find interesting on the topic ?

  11. Hi, Caldazar!

    I agree with Mashi ?

For me being White means way of thinking or how I understand the world, through logic and organisation.

But being here is mostly about people. I just love my fellow Whites ☺️ It feels like home to be here with them.

Woah!  I once went 5 years without soda, but I drink it regularly now.

    Any reason why you don’t?

    I don’t remember why I stopped ?

I don’t drink any sweet drinks usually. Maybe juices, but very seldom.

I eat too much sugar even without drinks.

And I don’t really like drinks to be sweet.
