  1. You're right on that one, Ithi! The more activity, the better!
  2. Yeah, it's just not for me. No worries. It is entertaining to watch though! πŸ™‚
  3. I've tried to play Mafia, and I'm SO BAD AT IT. πŸ˜‚ I think it triggers my anxiety.

  5. I think that pun went right over my head, Heavy. πŸ˜‚
  6. Hi, Gudrean! *happily returns huggle* Thank you! It's really sunny over here too! And it's in the 50s, so a lot nicer than it's been lately. lol
  7. #2 pencils were much better cassette winders in my experience.

  12. I take the weekend off, and there's a spam thread now? Yesss!!!
  13. Sure! I'm really only active in one, but we used to have a lot more. lol Dragonmount is divided into three sections. The general forums, where people come and discuss the books, tv shows, etc... The clubs, and the roleplay area. Clubs is where people can enter the White Tower to become Aes Sedai or a Warder , or join the Band of the Red Hand, or the Kin... You can join as many as you want, and each club has their own twist to it. I've made many life-long friends in the White Tower, and they're pretty tight-knit. The roleplay area is where you can write up your own character and play out plots in the Wheel of Time world. There are lots of rules, and I've been out of it for so long I'm not sure I can explain it properly now. lol
  14. Welcome, AlsBeck! I'm loving the new angles the show is going into as well! I love the books, but there were a few things I wish were handled differently. Either way, welcome to Dragonmount! I don't usually post outside of the clubs, but we're pretty relaxed in those. lol
  15. Lady, those are some awesome memories! Thank you for sharing! I actually started reading the series, because my freshman English teacher assigned a project to us for the end of the year. I think it was to get us used to using PowerPoint. I wasn't sure which book to choose from the list, but he had noticed me reading Harry Potter during breaks and downtime, so he suggested the Eye of the World. It was a group project, and I ended up being the one to actually read the book and supply the information for the slides. lol Some of my friends around school read the series too, and I remember pre-ordering Crossroads at Twilight...then kinda dropping it because one of my friends said it was mostly filler. I didn't finish the series completely until the news about A Memory of Light came out, and I was like, "Well, I guess I need to re-read the whole thing and get caught up!" Heavy, my advice is to go at this at your own pace. I believe you'll get to Aes Sedai one day. I remember feeling the same reservations you do, and they are surmountable, I promise. Your Ajah home is waiting for you, and it will be there when you figure out which one it is as well.
  16. Um...Hey, y'all. Bless your sweet little heart and all that. πŸ˜‚ I know each Ajah has a thread like this, but for the sake of engagement in general, here's one for the main board. 🀍 For those of you who don't know me, I'm Leala. Hi! I'm an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah, and I've been a member here since 2011 or so. I took a long break and came back a few months ago. I've made many life-long friends here. I even met my husband here! I started reading the Wheel of Time in 2001, when I was in high school, and it's lived in my head rent free since then. I've read the series about...4 times I think? My favorite character is Aviendha, and I LOVE the Aiel. I have 3 WoT tattoos, and one of them is an Aiel spear and buckler on my heel. May you always find water and shade. πŸ˜„ Anyways, here's a general chat thread. Come and talk to me!!
  17. Welcome to Dragonmount! What's your favorite book in the series?
  18. Welcome to Dragonmount, Andy! We're glad to have you here. I love your avatar! May you always find water and shade.
  19. The logic stands up to scrutiny there. Your coworkers are cats, after all.
  20. I am one of those GoT fans that was mad about the ending, but holy crap, this weather........πŸ˜‚
