Ok thanks, I think that there might be because there was an event that was on the road to fulfilling it before Tear.

I'm wondering if this part of the cycle:
nto the heart he thrusts his sword, into the heart, to hold their hearts.
who draws it out shall follow after,
What hand can grasp that fearful blade?
Is known for sure to be Callandor, through Q&A or some other detail in the books which logically excludes anything other than Callandor?
It's hard to search for those sentences and not find Callandor always being associated with them.

Are the Aiel on the same calendar system as the rest of the Westlands

I never noticed the Zomara until now, is it me or are there some resemblances to Min, at least how they are described on wiki?

Heh well I guess the same way Rand started spitting out names of false Dragons back in the EotW, or how predictions attributed to Nostradmus can begin to sound pretty convincing to a lot of people. But not to take a shit on your answer that is basically what I wanted to know, what the AS reasoning was, and their level of skepticism in regards to foretellings.

“The lion sword, the dedicated spear, she who sees beyond. Three on the boat, and he who is dead yet lives. The great battle done, but the world not done with battle. The land divided by the return, and the guardians balance the servants. The future teeters on the edge of a blade.”
Foretelling made by Nicola in LoC. I can't remember but is there any reason to consider this a credible foretelling? I don't remember what anyone did to separate this from total fabrication.

Character data is everywhere like those two places you listed for example. What's really lacking are good ways to sift through it all as far as I can tell, but I haven't checked every WoT related site so I could be wrong. It'd be pretty kick ass if there was just a straight SQL database you could query directly. I think there would be enough technically inclined people around that could work short requests with it, in this case a list of characters that didn't exist in name until TGS.
Then again probably like 500 people had already thought of that, did it, and I just don't know it because I am an idiot.

Damn I thought the lack of perrin in TGS was a mercy but it turns out hes just going to clothesline my head off with emo meathead shit in the next one.

Have any of the prophecies been fulfilled in multiple ways? It seems it usually gets argued that one specific event(s) was the correct event being prophesied, but I'm wondering about the ones that have multiple explanations.

Probably one of the thirteenth depository librarians.

What are the oaths the seanchan think the westlanders broke or abandoned? Having a hard time finding it.

I am sorry, I think I threw out a hypothetical (blightstrain having anything to do with failing crops in the rest of the world), but that was mostly a half baked idea. I was trying to find specific information on what was going on there, if that word (blightstrain) has been brought up or if we've seen similar efforts described anywhere. Everything in that scene seemed to indicate a significant undertaking presumably by Moridin, and he's not a character we see doing anything mundane very often. So I am being pretty anal over it, you do offer a reasonable explanation, but it's one of those times I think a we don't know yet answer is better.
-
So dont accuse me of making things up because you do not know the answers to things, people do, in rare events of the world, know something you do not
Well you are because my question was about blightstrain crops and specifically if I had missed any other references to it in any of the books or RJ Q/A's. None of your responses actually cite anything about farming in the blight, and that's a problem when trying to figure out if they are something new being introduced in the story.
-
Well ok now you are just speculating/making things up.
-
That doesn't actually answer anything, it's useless.
Edit: That's kind of an asshole thing to say I guess, sorry.
-
Well I was wondering if that was how the DO was spoiling crops in the first place. Seems a wasted effort for the forsaken to spend time growing crops just to feed troops since they're spread all over the world and can just hijack everyone elses.
Do we know how tall Dragonmount is? The wot encyclopedia says over ten miles but it's not cited, so I don't know where that number comes from.

From TGS
A collection of shoddy huts stood in the shadow of the fortress, and a few patches of blightstrain cropsmarked fields in the distance. They were probably trying a new strain, coaxing it to grow in the area.
Perhaps several different crops; that would explain the patches. Guards prowled the area, wearing black
uniforms despite the heat.
Is there any info out there about 'blightstrain' crops? How could she look at that and not want to find out what's going on there, it seems if Moridin was turning into a farmer that'd be something pretty important to know?

Weren't these creatures known about in the AoL?

Is it Andor custom for any potential Daughter Heir to go to Tar Valon for study, even those not in the House currently holding the throne? Didn't Morgase go to Tar Valon before Tigraine took off?
-
Was Herid Fel one of the Hadnan Kadere's wagon drivers in the Waste? Apparently he did have one named Herid, who fell partially into that doorframe and Lan saved him. Then he bolted when they got close to Cairhien. That couldn't possibly be a coincidence right?

Did Semirhage disguise her physical appearance at all when she wsa with Tuon?
-
Was Selucia offered to the imperial family as a baby or after her 25 years of training? There seems to be conflicting info on it on the wot wiki type sites.
-
Heh given how male channelers bond women I wonder if Rand has not accidently done it himself a few times.
-
There isn't much to say about something we know hardly anything about. As far as I can tell they're there as a measure in the physical world how close the DO is to breaking free, and that's all for now.

The darkness aura is just a spin on a technique called averted vision, basically you attempt to get a better look by using your peripheral vision rather than looking directly at something. It helps detect detail in certain situations due to the physiology of the eye.
