Sadly, the site isn't set up in a way that lets us post polls on the front page. If you want, you can start a thread with such a poll in our General Wheel of Time Discussion forum.

Where can you find your PMs?

There's a few different ways. From the front page, you can look at the top right corner of your screen. You'll see your name up there near the "Sign Out" button. If you have a PM, there will be a number between your name and the "Sign Out" button. Click on the number and it will take you to your PM inbox. If there isn't a number by your name, you don't have new PMs, but you can still go there. Click on your name. You'll be taken to your profile page. While there, look at the very top right corner of your screen. You'll see your name, but this time with a downward arrow by it that signifies a drop-down menu. Click on that. On the drop-down menu, pick "Messenger". That's it!

Jack: I should have specified that her former "quiet, unsure" status was referring to her perceived self-efficacy as a leader. Remember how she followed Nynaeve around like a puppy at the beginning of the EoTW? She started out the series deferring to others when it came to major leadership decisions and was kind of shaky and unsure when she first started having to make such decisions herself, but then grew into a confident Amyrlin who was sure of herself, her ability, and her decisions. Her abilities were underestimated by others at the beginning of the series, but people began to stand up and take notice in the later books.

Some of the comments are getting intense, so I want to post a reminder that while you're all free to express displeasure with the release date, please refrain from name-calling or personally attacking each other.

Believe it or not, but during the holidays malaise and everything else, I had kind of been contemplating taking a break from the blog (don't tell Dwynwen that ). Now not only am I glad I didn't, I'm also overjoyed that my work is so appreciated.
