Earlier today, Barnes & Noble released a detailed analysis of many components that make up The Wheel of Time series. The article focuses on wordcount, and how that applies to several areas of the novels, including character's gender, character's nationality, character's occupation, as well as words per book, and words averaged per chapter.
It's a bit overwhelming to look at it in number form, but author Kevin Klein does a fantastic job of explaining what each graph represents, and what we can infer from viewing them all together.
If you're in the mood for some deep thinking—or you happen to be in the White or Brown Ajahs—check out Klein's article!
