CBS, or 'the old people's network,' is trying to change their image by picking up a couple of pilots that are definitely not the same ol' CSI, Without A Trace, scare your grandmother about the world we live in kinda stuff.

The first is called Babylon Fields, and it's the story of a bunch of zombies. Yes, zombies. And how them being zombies is a "sardonic, apocalyptic American comedy-drama where the dead are rising and as a result, lives are regained, families restored and old wounds reopened." Then, there's Twilight, the story of a vampire/private eye. Really, 'nuff said there, I think. The over under on total episodes actually airing? Three. And I'll take the under.

No no, it's great. CBS needs some comedy in their line up. *g*

No offense to any Two and a Half men fans, if you even exist....

Yeah... er... I totally don't watch that.

I have attempted to watch it twice. I just did not like Charlie Sheen or the kid and I never laughed. I expect comedy to make me laugh.

Well, different sorts of comedy work for different people I suppose. I don't watch it regularly, but I've seen a few of the episodes and always liked them. I must say I hardly ever actually laugh out loud at anything.. I enjoy comedy that I find amusing and laugh occasionally. I do find myself actually laughing at 2 1/2 men more than most shows though... I also must say, I think Jon Cryer and the woman who plays the housekeeper are the real bright spots of the show...

I've also seen a few episodes of 'How I met Your Mother, which I think is brilliant, especially the actor who played Doogie Howser (I do know his name, it's just not coming to mind right now) and I've also seen two episodes of The Class, which isn't bad...

I've seen a couple of episodes of The Office on NBC which I also think is brilliant. I like the way they do the comedy, which is different than the traditional sitcom use of constant gags and one-liners. Using uncomfortable situations and usually building up to one or two really good comedic situations in an episode. Plus Steve Carell is a genius.
