But I wasn't.

We removed an anti-town player.

His coroner report might have shown "town", but he played for the maffia to win. Just as you seem to be doing.

We're accepting night actions.

We may or may not give suggestions on it.

We haven't really seen an analysis of the actions you've already received. I don't trust the game being run by two people.

@MR HYDE:

Unfortunately, we are still missing some key claims. Town was incredibly slacking in sending us info.

I can already tell you that we have found some contradictions and in some cases we have almost full proof on which party is lying.

I can also tell you that had we received the actions last night, or even in the first 24 hours of D4, this whole day would have gone completely different.

At the moment, we cannot reveal any of the information without helping the maffia to hide their actions.

We may be able to direct actions tonight to some extent, but not very far, because we need to ensure that the people we're planning to catch in a lie don't get help in what to claim.

If you have an specific suggestions on what we should be doing, let me know, I'm all ears. Both about actions and on what we should do with them.

You can suggest in PM, you can suggest on thread, whichever suits you best.

This is a stupid statement.  You keep making these types of statements, and the town will put you down.  That goes double for Mantis-boy.

Demon Shark is correct:  we can't (and frankly don't) trust you guys are competent enough to analyze this information.  For example, Mantis is accusing me of being scum in PM because he "analyzed" my actions against others.  He is wrong to come to the conclusion I'm scum.  I'm happy to be the lynch to prove how poorly you guys are analyzing information.  Either get it right, or don't.  But don't fire from the hip and assume it is right.

Posted

Actually, you can. You know who I am.

If there's one thing I'm good at in maffia then that's analysis.

Mantis is accusing you against his own action. But he's too quick to jump to conclusions just yet. We will talk about that on D5.

I'm not going to jump on conclusions and when I state a case, I'll be precise and detailed. In most cases you can't be 100% sure anyway, but it must be possible to narrow it down to "at least one of A or B is scum" in several cases. We already have a few such.

This is not even the main point, however. At this point it is town's best interest to collect information. Refusing to give out information when it can't hurt town, but might help it is anti-town play. It doesn't matter whether you can or do trust us o be able to competent enough to analyze this information.

We've got this "librarian" role for now, for better or worse. If it was someone else, I wouldn't hesitate to share info. No town player would or should either.

Not claiming to a clear townie is anti-town.  Regardless of your opinion of the competence of said townie.

When Mantis and Wax Phantom think they have something, I am sure they will come out with a justification.  At that point you can argue about competence.

By all means, choose your own night actions, but not informing the clear townies of them is selfish, arrogant, and anti-town.

CURRENT VOTE COUNT:

Witch Doc (3) - Wax, Werewolf, Shark

Jaguaro (14) - Ghost, Zombie, Tar Monster, Pterodactyl, Hyde, Cutler, Shark, 10,000, Phantom, Charlie, Black Knight, Cat Creature, Miner, Dr. Coffin

Mantis (5) - Zombie, Tar Monster, Pterodactyl, Cutler, Skeleton

Elias (1) - Charlie

Zombie (2) - Mantis, Jaguaro

Cutler (3) - Mantis, Jaguaro, Charlie

Shark (3) - 10,000 , Black Knight, Hyde

Creepy Heap (3) - Werewolf, Phantom, Ghost

With 24 players, it takes 14 to lynch. Twice.

Deadline Saturday, 9:15 am EST

JAGUARO IS TODAY'S FIRST LYNCH. HE HAS THE OPTION TO PLAY ON UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY

Recalibrating current vote count...

The bolded players that voted for both Jaguar and Mantis should be looked into. Once the cat (*purr*) was out of the bag and it was rather apparent that Mantis and Jaguar were the same person, there was no legit reason to vote both on the same day. A smart play (and the one that took place) was to lynch one and gain information on the other so we'd be able to vet a townie (or if Jaguaro flipped scum, to lynch Mantis the following day).

As far as I'm concerned, the ones that voted both were hoping we'd lose two townies and gain zero information. So there's a good chance we got scum in that group of 4 players. And I stand corrected by Wax's comment earlier about Charlie Clown being one of them, as I thought before. Clearly, he wasn't.

I also think it's quite interesting that in that group of 4 we have Tar Monster and Zombie that are, as far as we know, controlled by the same person. Utilizing both accounts under his grasp to  get rid of Mantis and Jaguaro in one full swoop kinda stands out here.

So, those 4 are at the top of my suspect list right now. I'll be taking a closer look at them once the day kicks in.

We should get back to scumhunting. At night too.

Finally

You're saying that like as I told you something new. The fact that I don't have the energy to collect actions, organize them AND scumhunt doesn't mean that others shouldn't. I stated that already.

Posted

I just meant I haven't seen much scumhunting since we began the whole holster vs. not-holster, then Charlie lynch, conversations.  From most everybody, not just you.

I haven't seen much scumhunting this game on any of the days.

Quite hard to do with so many inactives (that was totally planned by DPR btw), we don't even have momentum to pressure people properly.

I've been doing WORK.

And the Charlie lynch was good.  His defense of Mummy's claim was terrible.

Just for the record:

Space Kook and Creepy Heap are likely going to be tomorrow's lynches - plural - given the information we have currently.

Please send in your night actions ASAP.  Cases will be presented upon daybreak.

Snow Beast crept up behind his target, warming his fingers up for the pinch, when a spotlight illuminated him completely.

"You! In the white Bigfoot getup - yeah, you... Throw your hands in the air like you just got arrested. Because you did."

SNow Beast looks around, but his would be target is long gone.

"Someone hit the dance lights. I'll get the shiny bracelets."

And with that, blue light flickered through the night. Snow Beast was arrested and there was only one thing left to do.

"Let's see who this freak is. Pull it."

The mask comes off and its Dap.

SNOW BEAST, DAP, TOWN, HAS BEEN CAUGHT STEALIN' AND HE'S OFF TO JAIL.

Results are coming.

It is now D3. With 24 players, it takes 13 to lynch.

Deadline falls on the 10th. 9:15 am EST. No extensions.

Normal majority lynch rule.

A MAGISTRATE ROLE HAS BEEN USED.

TWO MAJORITY LYNCHES MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE DEADLINE. THEY CAN BE MADE SIMULTANEOUSLY, OR ONE AFTER THE OTHER, AS LONG AS THEY ARE BOTH COMPLETED.

THE PENALTY WILL APPLY TO BOTH IF EITHER LYNCH IS NOT MADE.

Magistrate used.

Okay, You don't have to designate L1 or L2 anymore. You can just vote - I don't know what i was thinking...

CURRENT VOTE COUNT:

10,000 (1) - Dr. Coffin

Creepy Heap (2) - Ghost, Jaguaro

Witch Doc (1) - Wax

Dr. Coffin (1) - Jaguaro

Ghost (1) - Dr. Coffin

With 24 players, it takes 14 to lynch.

Deadline Saturday, 9:15 am EST

Next Vote Count shows Majority + 1 needed for lynch.

It is possible that the Magistrate role increases the number required to lynch.  That still wouldn't explain the D1 shenanigans though.

More data required.

Feeling more comfortable with Tar/Zombie based on tonight's posts.

I very much agree that it's anti-town to refuse to cooperate with Wax and Mantis here. Space Kook and Demon Shark, how about you answer the question I posed during Charlie's lynch.

Regardless of whether you think Wax and Mantis are particularly competent, what's the worst case scenario that you think is going to happen by having them collect and compare the night actions?
