Will Ferrell, Stranger than Fiction - Yes, he did a damn good job. However I really think he will be looking in the window when the five are announced.

 

Aaron Eckhart, Thank You for Smoking - I have heard only good stuff about this performance... and it was an early movie.

 

Forest Whitaker, The Last King of Scotland - I haven't even heard of this film and people have Whitaker projected as a favorite to win.... I need to check this out.
