I heard a lot of "could" and "would" and "maybe" in there.

How about we focus on actual scummy behavior and not on legitimate mistakes?

Lynch SH, then Moridin. Moridin is either defending a buddy or defending an unknown entity way too hard.

On second thought, that doesn't make sense. We can deal with SH later.

Unvote: Vote Moridin.

Any reason why Mesaana over Moridin? You seem convinced that Moridin's scum (by the way, it started as a joke vote, but it's staying right where it is). This is non-accusatory, by the way. Just genuine curiosity.

I shouldn't seem sure that Moridin's scum. I gave him a 60% chance. But I voted for Mesaana because it's nice to make edgy players edgier, sometimes.

Speaking of Moridin, anybody noticing how he's sticking up for Rand so much? Why might that be? Perhaps there's something to this case of Graendal's after all.

Had there been a lot of instant bandwagoning I would have changed my vote, but since there wasn't I am happy with my vote where it is.

This.

And you're going to sit there and accuse Rand Haran of flailing?

Pot. Meet. Kettle.

Someone please kill this turkey.

Seriously, you didn't post this much the first three days of play. The last 12 hours has been nothing but you flailing. Over two whole votes. Why so scared Grandael? Catching flack from your teammates in the QT?

Pfft. Puhlease.

Posting more =/= flailing

Your over the top defending of SH only makes me feel that much more comfortable with my vote. Too many people have rushed forward to defend the al'Thor boy to dismiss as coincidence.

*points at what Lanfear said*

I actually want to vote Moridin, now, but I can't since I'm not at a computer and I can't remember the code. Quail and quake, sir.

If you had wanted to point out an example of Graendal being a hypocrite, you could have just shown this:

Well this has gotten interesting.

I do think those who hopped on that train could be looked at closer. They were the first ones to bring a train past the regular 1 or 2 joke votes. Maybe trying to get it to snowball?

Sounds like the same thing Peacesells was trying to do in the Mandalorian game on Myndjack. Peacesells? Is that you?

pretty sure I know who the person in question is, but this is an alt game for a reason, there is no need to out people especially on day 1, Rand was a seperate case where he outed himself, also I forgot to quote it but same to whoever outed Wombat really poor day 1 plays.

And say whatever you like about periods and question marks, but this is role fishing, plain and simple. Scummy.

Kill Graendal, she is scum.

Ok Nolder.

The fact is, there's been way too much reaction to the train on SH to ignore. A flip on him could tell us some more about all those that have rushed to his defense.

Now let's go ahead and string up this overgrown fade and get it over with.

I find the SH/Moridin dynamic interesting. I'll bite.

Actually what was there to comment on before Mesana got the ball rolling, I laugh at you calling scum hunting flailing. Also, pretty sure you're are guilty of upping your post count for all of this as well does that mean you are flailing?

She does touch some interesting points, though. Why try to cover for his fail so bad? Yeah, he screwed up. Happens. He should have just moved on from there, instead of trying to pretend like 'Rand' did it to make people think he was him. What specifically draws my attention is him laughing it off and saying it is a fail. And then suddenly changing his tactic to denying it, as if advised. That's how it's coming across to me at the moment. Otherwise he wouldn't have made the slip of admitting it before the attempted cover up.

Why? Hmm. Embarassment? Humiliation? Chagrin?

I think you're overthinking it. RH's reaction seems perfectly normal to me after such a monumental faux pas. He played it off, then when it was obvious no one bought it, he fessed up. What at all is fishy about that?

Try scum flail. It's because "Moridin" never makes a mistakem so he can't recognize the over-reactions of his scum buddy. I call bull.

How does that make sense? Ascum mate sticking up for another scum mate means a case on me is legit?

Funny thing is, Moridin isn't Nolder lol I know exactly who it is, I had made a joke because that is something Nolder would say. No I will not tell you who Moridin really is, not on day 1, just suffice to know he is scum.

Agreed, Moridin isn't Nolder.

As to whether he is scum, I am starting to think you're right, there.

Not really a case of sticking up for RH, more a case of seeing obvious scum using scummy reasoning to pull off a scummy lynch. It could have been anyone who made the slip, I would still call it out. Principles, people.

As I would have voted anyone who made that slip. It was a panic move and you know it, defending it means you are scum. Either you are defending SH to look more town because you know he is town, or you are defending a scum buddy who is flailing.

Unvote vote Moridin

Just so you know SH you are not off the hook, I just think Moridin is the better day 1 lynch, as we can all enjoy your flail for one more day.

This is my thoughts as well. Not sure it's enough to vote him though.

The defense here seems more of a scum tell. Vote Moridin

Normally I would call someone out for trying to protect someone who is town to seem more town, but Moridin's arguments have been true and I haven't seen much in that that seems like scum looking for a way to protect town. However, it could be that he sees an illegitimate case on a townie and wants to take advantage of that in a different way while his teammates take advantage in the normal way while still distancing. Right now, i will hold off on the Moridin WIFOM.

More and more these two are striking me as teammates.

Saying someone dropped a scumtell without elaborating is my bag. Get your own.

The case on Moridin is not bad for D1. What I find interesting is the people trying to tie Moridin and Shaidar Haran together. It is pretty poor scum strategy to openly defend teammates on D1, so I doubt they are both scum. I think an SH or Moridin lynch could prove very enlightening with regards to whoever doesn't get lynched and the people trying to tie them together.

Moridin's defense of Rand def seems like the scummier move here, and I really didn't like the way he tried to call out Graendal for flailing just because the game had picked up

Hey, I don't think he's third party. :)

No, but on a serious note, I think that what Moridin has done so far is more WIFOM than anything. I think you guys are looking at one side only, which may be legitimate, but you are completely forgetting the possibility that he is an honest townie who is helping out another townie.

Posted

I am also disconcerted by the speed of this train, if Moridin turns out to be town, I will be 100% sure that there are some scum on this train, if he's not, some scum may be on it to distance themselves, but they will most likely be later votes that happened around now.

The way he is defending you does not scream "I am unenlightened townie". It has more of a "I know more about what's going on than you guys do" attitude about it.

WIFOM, there is always scum on a lynch, you should know that by now this post was completely worthless.

Touche, or however you spell that. You do make a good point. However, and i have been guilty of this as well, when you think that someone is being unwrongly accused and noone else is standing up for him/her, you do the extra work.

Very true, but I am saying that if he is scum, that I would think that there would be other scum voting about now to dissappear into the train and yet distance themselves.

1) There are only very rare cases that a townie should stick there neck out day 1, even then it's highly fround upon.

2) This is one of those things that is always true, so again saying so is pointless. It makes me think you are trying to bury something in pointless posts that have no bearing.
