Wait you serious? You are votin me because you think you know who I really am? Worst reasoning I have ever seen. Semirhage, Demandred, and Graendal, have a nice time being cut off from the OP. :)

You should learn to pay better attention to who is voting you and who is not.

Sorry, got mixed up with you and Moggy, I get them mixed up, even though Semirhage is more awesome, no offense Moggy. :)

Will you go ahead and get mixed up and tell us you are scum already so we can end this charade?

Graendal is obviously scum.

Also, unvote, vote Fadey al'thor (Shadar-Haran if you please)

Basing her vote on meta. Sure, Rand Haran made a goof, but isn't the whole point of an alt-game to not use meta? So you know who he is, so what? That is a valid reason to vote him? Because you know who he is? Weak.

So what you are saying is you are a roleblocker. "I don't usually out things I try to hide, but when I do I should have stopped talking several posts ago."

And say whatever you like about periods and question marks, but this is role fishing, plain and simple. Scummy.

Kill Graendal, she is scum.

Actually I based it on reactions, he was in the early stages of flail. I even posted as much. Nice OMGUS btw SH, I wasn't trying to figure out who you were because you already let everyone know who you were.

As you should know, I was in the stages of flail as someone had tried to make people think that i was him, that was a who is SH in DM flail. And I meant rolefishing as in do I have a townie power and if so what is it. I am not giving you any hints on that you scummy role fisher.

Slip much? if I get mixed up and tell you that I am scum, that means that I got mixed up and am not really scum and am town. do you know I am town? Are you scum?

Now you are in full flail, you know right and well what I meant with that statement.

Also I was not fishing, and 9 times out of 10 you'll see roleblocker as a mafia role. How I read your statement that I commented on was you hinting roleblocker without being tied down to a claim if no one picked it up.

Continue to tell me how scummy I am though, and I will continue to shield myself from the flail.

Well, it seems like everyone knows who I am by now (yes, i know everyone already did), but I guess I'll just go along with it then. It seems like you have played with me before graendal and you should know that when I make slips like that, it is me thinking of too many things at once and trying to combine them. You know or should know that that is nothing really strong anyways. And yes, I knew what you meant by that statement, but sometimes truth comes out in ways that are least expected. And a better way then full out saying what I may have been hinting at (which I wasn't) would have been to ask if I was hinting at something and then ask what, which would not have been rolefishing. And I am not in full flail, that was me trying to shield my identity. Again, i made a mistake and I will have to live with that and meta will now be used against me, but I ask that you make actual cases in the spirit of the game.

kind of off topic, but what does that mean? I keep seeing that! and i probably am a complete noob right now.

I did make a case on you whereas the others just voted you and left it at that. I stated your reactions were why I voted you, however I did not state as much until asked about it. I saw no reason to state them at the time, it would have been better to see how many bandwagon votes would appear just based on your slip alone. I did not ask if you were a roleblock I did not even expect a reply to that statement, I was just stating how I read it and nothing more.

*sashays in, wearing a scandalous dress*

Time for a wall of text.

Demandbat has been very aggressive, attacking three players in as many posts:

Very scummy you easy lynchers.

Your panic fuels my desire to kill you.

So what you are saying is you are a roleblocker. "I don't usually out things I try to hide, but when I do I should have stopped talking several posts ago."

Actually, I think that was more just an IC threat. Nice rolefishing though.

Well this has gotten interesting.

I do think those who hopped on that train could be looked at closer. They were the first ones to bring a train past the regular 1 or 2 joke votes. Maybe trying to get it to snowball?

This post smells like it was picked up off a midden heap. Expressing the sentiment that the first real train is scum-led while saying nothing else.

Mesaana, though, trips up in response to Demandbat, who accused her of saying that the Rand Haran train was scum-led. I'm not sure why that's such a bad thing to say, but Mesaana seems to be very anxious about not raising a kerfuffle. She doesn't want to say they're mafia, but does think they should be looked at more. But if they're not mafia, why should we bother?

I do agree with her basic point that Rand being Rand isn't a reason to vote for him, and that the wagon on him is therefore bad, but her reluctance to call the people on that train scummy for voting with poor reasoning is weird.

unvote

Vote: Mesaana

Womby that you?

Well this has gotten interesting.

Never said it was scum lead. Just thought they should be looked at abit more. And the reason is mostly because of how weak their voting reasons were. If they had an actual reason to start the train then it wouldnt be as suspicious, but right now it looks like they are voting because Rand slipped up and posted in the wrong account.

Moridin wants us to vote for Graendal. Moridin does the right thing here by actually putting his vote where his mouth is when criticizing the Rand Haran wagon. The point about rolefishing isn't convincing, though. My feeling here is that Moridin is somebody who knows the game well enough to pick out formulaic textbook violations against the accepted manual of 'how to play like town', and is trying to seem town by pinging Graendal for them.

Graendal is obviously scum.

tl;dr:

- Demandred is aggressive. This could be scum throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks, but... I agree with some of what he says. I give him a scuminess reading of 30%.

- Mesaana is edgy. She could do with some pressure.

- Moridin may be opportunistic mafia. I give him a 60% chance, so far. Perhaps, given the way Mesaana and Moridin are both pushing against the people who voted Rand for being Rand, they're purposefully working in tandem?

Unvote, Vote: Mesaana

Posted

Any reason why Mesaana over Moridin? You seem convinced that Moridin's scum (by the way, it started as a joke vote, but it's staying right where it is). This is non-accusatory, by the way. Just genuine curiosity.

I don´t like the way Graendal puts preausre on SH because he is Rand. I don´t know what have happened in previous games. I guess he made some mistakes as scum? Anyway, this is an alt game and I don´t like votes based on what player is behind the alt.

Lot of people that haven´t voted yet.

Posted

Go ahead and say then. I won't tell you if you are right or wrong, but I am interested who you think I am. Also with Ishy on this one, joke vote that I don't get or voting becaus you know who I am?

This post really wasn't needed, you could have played it off at the time there was nothing to go on so the case would have backfired on the accuser had you just played it off.

Go ahead and say then. I won't tell you if you are right or wrong, but I am interested who you think I am. Also with Ishy on this one, joke vote that I don't get or voting becaus you know who I am?

The latter.

And you're scum.

I thought you meant you knew who I was like handle wise, also any reasons why you think I am scum?

Had you not posted this on your real account this post would have been fine if you had left it at this. I read your slip as a panic so I voted you for it.

As I said, I am fine with you thinking I am him, knowing Rand he might have done that if he thought it was worth it to get a PR. Back to the case, why do you think I am scum?

You weren't fooling anybody with this, and then right back to the overdefensiveness. You played right into the accusers hands by continuously asking this question. The accuser could have had no real read on you and voted you for reactions and you let them put you into a panic to the point you slipped and posted on your real account. Yes it is Meta but at the same time it isn't, I would have voted anyone else who had panicked and slipped like this.

Wait you serious? You are votin me because you think you know who I really am? Worst reasoning I have ever seen. Semirhage, Demandred, and Graendal, have a nice time being cut off from the OP. :)

Panic post.

Very scummy you easy lynchers.

It's only easy if you make it easy.

Very scummy you easy lynchers.

Your panic fuels my desire to kill you.

I agree with this statement since we know who it is, there is no point not using his meta. Rand generally panics in this manner as scum.

Well this has gotten interesting.

I do think those who hopped on that train could be looked at closer. They were the first ones to bring a train past the regular 1 or 2 joke votes. Maybe trying to get it to snowball?

Sounds like the same thing Peacesells was trying to do in the Mandalorian game on Myndjack. Peacesells? Is that you?

pretty sure I know who the person in question is, but this is an alt game for a reason, there is no need to out people especially on day 1, Rand was a seperate case where he outed himself, also I forgot to quote it but same to whoever outed Wombat really poor day 1 plays.

I am almost 100% sure that there is one scum on my train, pretty sure they saw it as a nice opportunity to out a townie. Also, not sure which of you are joke voting at this point and which of you are actually voting, I would like a summary.

Interesting, the only people who 100% know who is scum on day 1 is more scum. Tell me again how you are not scum, it's truely riveting.

I meant that which of you are voting me for joke votes and which of you for real, I wanted a summary of that, not the whole game.

Graendal is obviously scum.

Also, unvote, vote Fadey al'thor (Shadar-Haran if you please)

Yeah, I also agree with this, easily jumping on a train for no good reason, or if there is one, not even saying what it is, and then trying to figure out who I am, very fishy/scummy.

vote Graendal

Trademark OMGUS, for a weak reason, why should I out my reasons instantly, sometimes it's better to reveal your reasons later see who bites before you reveal.

Posted

I'm fine leaving my vote where it is. Flail = Scummy reaction. SH here has flailed before, but I've seen it in both town and mafia persepctives for him. It feels more mafia based flail this game.

Posted

I missed commenting on one of the quotes, the summary quote. Seriously why are you asking for a summary 6 pages in to the game, even if it's just who is voting you. It takes like 5 minutes to read through 6 pages I just quoted my whole case on you in 23 minutes and that is with my commenting on them.

And you're going to sit there and accuse Rand Haran of flailing?

Pot. Meet. Kettle.

Someone please kill this turkey.

Seriously, you didn't post this much the first three days of play. The last 12 hours has been nothing but you flailing. Over two whole votes. Why so scared Grandael? Catching flack from your teammates in the QT?

She does touch some interesting points, though. Why try to cover for his fail so bad? Yeah, he screwed up. Happens. He should have just moved on from there, instead of trying to pretend like 'Rand' did it to make people think he was him. What specifically draws my attention is him laughing it off and saying it is a fail. And then suddenly changing his tactic to denying it, as if advised. That's how it's coming across to me at the moment. Otherwise he wouldn't have made the slip of admitting it before the attempted cover up.

Why? Hmm. Embarassment? Humiliation? Chagrin?

I think you're overthinking it. RH's reaction seems perfectly normal to me after such a monumental faux pas. He played it off, then when it was obvious no one bought it, he fessed up. What at all is fishy about that?

It's fishy because it's deceptive and could have caused a lot of trouble. What would we have thought of Rand if we had believed that he had actually been doing that to frame or screw with SH? Would we have gone on a witch-hunt looking for Rand, lyching anyone we thought was acting too Randish?

I get that it was embarrassing. Trust me, I've had my fair share of screw up to know. What's fishy about it is that his reaction doesn't seem like a reflex/natural reaction. He didn't go all 'oops, fine, it's me. I'm dumb.' nor did he immediately go cover up mode. He laughed it off and then made the attitude switch. So that sort of changes it from a normal reaction to a more premeditated one.

I don't know, it just doesn't sit right.
