Basing her vote on meta. Sure, Rand Haran made a goof, but isn't the whole point of an alt-game to not use meta? So you know who he is, so what? That is a valid reason to vote him? Because you know who he is? Weak.

So what you are saying is you are a roleblocker. "I don't usually out things I try to hide, but when I do I should have stopped talking several posts ago."

I know non staff that would know the majority of staff past and present. Not that your first piece of "info" was really an attack.

 

I don't see where it's scummy to look at who would be in the game, it's just like any other themed game, the info is there you just have to find it.

 

So far you have been mentioned as scummy more than any other player. You have been accused of rolefishing, and rolecasting ( you threw in the whole "Roleblocker" thing into a basic game), and you have attacked players at will. Now, I'm just adding to the list by pointing out that you are making up your own rules by leadig folks to believe that Red has created characters the way that you point out she has because they fit your needs. You hit the scumdar about once out of every two posts, and you never did explain how the whole Admin vs. Non-Admin / user group / staff thing worked, as a town player would when they wanted to make sure that everyone was clear on the theory that they were presenting. Instead, you pulled the classic "I won't say it again" move. We're all ears if you want to explain it again to us...

That's not what I am saying, but that may have been an after thought. What I am saying is that Moridin wouldn't want to defend me that obviously if we were both scum, that would be ridiculous and dumb. And btw, the only cases you have are my flailing and identity revealing which are both not related to the actual game at all. That along with moridin protecting me, which is him trying to get attached to a townie. Does anyone else see how incredibly bad these cases are? You all say that you are going to vote me tomorrow, but most of you are following leads from some scumsters just because they seem town. Look at the cases they have put on me. It's literally like me saying that peace posted in the game thread, whoever he is is now scum, look, now he is trying to figure out a way to make people think he is actually not peace and trying to protect his identity, that obviously means he's scum. Wait a second, some guys protecting him and he turned out to be scum. That means Peace has to be scum just because scum never try to attach themselves to townie to either make them more credible or try to get the townie lynched if they get lynched.

 

Oh and btw, anticipated reaction, "Yay, do some more flail Rand!". This isn't flail, this is pointing out that your cases Graendal are severely lacking in content and reason and that you are either a very scummy scumster or your radar and reasoning are way off this game.

The only way your arguments stand up is if they are supported by the logic used to create them. If there have only been *maybe 10 admins* in the history of DM, we would expect to see other names used as character names - right? And if Graen knew that, like she said, then how was it she picked off a fake one? That's quite a trick.

 

Your defense of Graen is suspect.

 

I don't really understand what you mean by accounting for 20 players. It would seem right now that the coroner report + graendal's reveal indicates that the roles match DM's current/prior positions (plus any player can have a third confirmation to that by looking at their own personal PM). The false claim, on the other hand, did not match. The more coroner reports we see, the stronger this theory will get. As for Graendal thinking that the remaining CURRENT admins are in this game... that's mere speculation. I tend to think it probable but there's really nothing to back that up right now.

 

And I don't really understand what you mean in regards to it being quite a trick. If memory serves right, yes, there have been up to 15 admins in the last 10 years. But I don't understand how that's relevant to her noticing that Poet wasn't admin. Maybe if you phrase yourself better I'll understand the point you're trying to get across.

I'm curious why a Doc wants to jump into a situation where one player is calling another player out at night? I mean, there must be a reason I'm doing this, right? And i think it's fair to say that most players would let the player under fire answer questions - it can't possible hurt the town to get info on the table, right?

OK, btw, something I just thought about, nae resigned from staff fairly recently, so it's not something really prior. My guess is that Red organized the game when Nae was staff and just kept it that way, or she didn't know who the next SG leader would be.

Can we cut to the chase with this?

 

If you are going to accuse Rand of being scum, then you have to accept that he intentionally "slipped" and real-posted, and that Moridin was there to try and use it to sheep Rand - that they had it planned. Since most folks argument is that Rand is a goof who gives himself away easily, I don't get how he has masterminded this amazing gambit? Not to mention that it did get Moridin lynched, which they would have had to consider, on day 1.

 

Once again, it's so easy for the Cop to check Rand tonight (unless Graen's dreaded Roleblocker is on the job *snort*) and then we need to decide as a group whether we think it's a good idea for the Cop to reveal if they find scum. Put it up as a non-argument yes-or-no vote. The we move on. Not complicated at all...

 

I firmly believe that anyone stuck on the SH case is just gunning for an easy town speed-lynch to try and nock in two mafia nightkills.

 

There are other, more compelling cases to be made.

Okay - it strikes me as odd that attention is paid to and cases are being made concerning the "true" identities of the players when we've only been through day 1.

 

If we were on day 3, and someone noticed a trend, I'd take a look at it.

 

But Granedal started a trend on day 1 - with no info at all - and is using it to case with. This is just scummy as hell in my book, and I can't believe everyone is just going along with it.

 

There was no reason to believe that "Poet" was a mafia oriented cover name. Graendal pinging on this was pure junk that she used to try and cover and distance herself from Moridin after he had been called out and stood a good chance of going down.

You are right there was no reason. Hence why I didn't vote Moridin until Halima's reveal smart guy, of the 2 I trusted Halima because of Moridin's slip calling Poet an Admin.
