An Unexpected Charge (Mirandha)

Taking the note she had been given, Lillian didn't even watch the Novice depart as she opened the note. A Novice bearing news to an Accepted was more often than not doing so at the behest of the Mistress of Novices. Not wasting anytime, she quickly got to her feet and made sure her appearance was impeccable before she made her way from her Quarters. The summons did not state what they were for, but as far as Lillian knew she had not transgressed any rules. Her studies were progressing steadily, what could this be about?

 

Knocking politely at the door to the Mistress of Novice's office, she was quickly called in by Faerzyne Sedai. Stepping inside, Lillian shut the door behind her softly and was quickly forming conclusions from what she saw. A new Novice for she held her Novice whites in her hands rather than wore them, and Faerzyne Sedai had the Novice rolls before her. No doubt the Faerzyne Sedai wanted her to escort the girl to her Mentor, though why Faerzyne wished an Accepted for such a task instead of using the Novi-

 

"Accepted Lillian, this is Mirandha Bayana. As of now you are her mentor." WHAT? Blinking, Lillian refrained from asking whether there had been some sort of mistake as Faerzyne Sedai continued. "You may take her now, she will be residing in your old quarters."

 

Nodding in acquiescence, Lillian turned to Mirandha to stand. Opening the door for her, Lillian closed it quietly behind them and began leading the girl out of the Tower. Well, not girl, she was certainly older than Lillian had been when she had arrived. They were of a height, similar eyes or so Lillian had glimpsed, they even wore their hair at the same length though Mirandha's was not so dark. Yet it was their skin that made it easiest to tell them apart, Lillian's copper skin was her Domani heritage whereas the girl's paler skin made it harder to place her. Her clothing was Andoran cut, perhaps that was it.

 

Looking to Mirandha as they continued walking, Lillian smiled as she spoke. "As Faerzyne Sedai noted, I am Accepted Lillian. As long as none of the Aes Sedai are around we can drop the 'Accepted', it tends to be a bit of a mouthful after awhile. I am guessing you are from Andor from your dress, I myself am from Tarabon, though Domani by blood. But, I am only guessing. Tell me of yourself Mirandha."

OOC: Also, I got your intro saidar class started on the classroom board at the WT boards. Saline/Lih-Lyh also has your Intermediate and White Tower & the World up. Take your time with them, at your own pace as you can. Me and Lily may have gotten a bit carried away :)

 

I also wasn't sure whether you and Meyev were sharing a room, or whether you or her had arrived at the Tower first, so I've left it for you to determine. If anything needs altering let me know :)
