hey, i'm an aspiring writer (inspired by none other than Robert Jordon)and was wondering of there is a way to ask him advise and tips about writing a novel.

Any mail for RJ send via TOR his publishers and they'll forward it. You'll find that RJ has given advice on writing in several of his FAQ sessions. Also check out the Blog entries... you might find something there as well.
