ok so all along the series where moraine is at least she is always saying that she will take any one of the boys if the dark one gains control and she will take them out.

 

so i am thinkign that maybee the reason that she had to be at the last battle to take out rand due to the dark one taking him over im probally wrong but maybee yah never know

This is a reasonable idea and I've seen it mentioned a number of times on this forum. Something like this might very well happen although Moiraine likely won't be the only person involved in Rand's death. Alivia at least should have a role in that too. Perhaps some others as well.

thats what ive been thinking also she says it so much i think its bound to happen one way or another

 

i just saw another thing id like to mention when rand thom and mat get to whitebridge they are talking to the inkeeper about the hunt for the horn and thom says this "in the last, lorn fight gainst the fall of long night the mountains stand guard, and the dead shall be ward for the grave is no bar to my call

 

so its about the horn thats a given but maybee its another type of propecy spellin sucks i know but it could be a lil info on why the horn has t be there at the last battle for other reasons to call up the dead heros
