Oma&Opa are maternal side, Omi&Opi are paternal. But I've heard other geman kids do this teh opposite way too, so...iz not offishal I guess.

Grandmother is = mamakhulu (big/great mother)

and Grandfather is = tatakhulu (big/great father)
