Watching Beyond Thunderdome for the Nth time. Great series. But I cant help but picture Aviendha as the main girl savage that shows/tells Mel the story of their past before they find the airplane. Anyone else that has seen this series of movies feel the same way?

 

And if not this one, what movie star makes you think of one of the Rand-landers? Who is your perfect fit for a character?

Some of these are kinda stretchy but Dicaprio as Galad is perfect. Imagine if they made WoT movies and got that all star lineup might actually be worth the butchering of the books that would take place. Thom I kinda see as George Clooney.

I'd also swap Liv Tyler and Oliver Wilde

I guess i wasnt thinking about body types for a perect match, since they can screw with that like in the lord of the rings.

 

Redford too old and frail for Rhuarc.

And pattenson doesnt have the look i envision for rand. i guess thats why i left him out.

Min seems like an asian girl for me, but i cant explain why.

I always thought of Juilin as a scrawny dude, like the archer from Conan the Barbarian.

 

I do like Hugh Jackman as Elias. Good one!!
