Fantasy Football Round 2

This week may haunt for the rest of my Fantasy Football days. Let's get into it shall we...

 

Seggie vs Dante's Inferno: Again Seggie has all cowboys and somehow, even with Owens sucking it up, he beat out Dante. I secretly believe it is the lone Panther on his team.

 

Paityr vs. Spare Change: Paityr is the team to the beat this year. He has solid receivers and two good RBs. I think his only weakness will come during bye weeks. He wins again by more than 30 points. We hate him now.

 

Luvi vs. College roomate: Luvi busted out a less than 1 point victory over my best friend from college. He could be a force in the league if he keeps this up.

 

Karana vs Seri: Ooo cat fight. Karana found out just how much trouble her team was in when one of her starting RB's got her 2 points. Seri easily took this win away from Karana to improve to a 2-0 record.

 

Empy vs one of his workers from work: Let me tell you, there is no better feeling than humbling one of your associates in a game of fantasy football. Last year, I smashed him in every game. This year, he kicked me around like a small ...errr...something. Oh, I could have won... I had Rex Grossman on my bench (300 yrds, 4 TDs... career day).

Three eh.... Ok I have two, but then again I don't join 5 leagues a year in hopes of just winning one.

Seriously, though, if you think you stand a chance I wouldn't be averse to putting my money where my mouth is. Since this is the entertainment org, we could wager the DVD of our choice (within limits...say, under $15). What sayeth ye?

OR, to make it even more interesting, we could wager a DVD of the loser's choice. So if I win, you buy me whatever movie on DVD you want. If you win, I choose a DVD for you. That will make both the wager and the prize more exciting, I think.

You're kidding, right? Why the hell did you allow every shmoe and his cat to join the freakin' league? I mean, who ever heard of a fantasy football league with sixty seven teams?!?

Ok, how about we wager over who scores the most points in the next three games? That way, its like we're both starting at zero. This way, you wouldn't have to worry about trying to catch up with my powerhouse team that has already racked up twice as many points as you.

 

Or you could just buy me a DVD. There's always that option.

I don't know about that. My team is only good enough to beat you, not out score you every week.

 

And I wanted to make it a challenge!!!! Next year we will keep it quaint and small.

Well, we've got to make a wager on something. Can't waste this cool idea I had.

 

How about we have a poll or something? The winner gets to have the other person buy the DVD thingy. We could have people vote for whose pen is bigger.
