OK I think Forsaken was working against each other and this saved Rand's life in the Stone.

I have some thoughts about how Forsaken hampered each other. Please bear with me while I explain. If you think you need to correct me and add something please feel free to reply. I am confused on some details and I have some questions below. I would very much appreciate if you could take your time to answer them.

Rhavin, Be'lal and Ishamael meet in the Ways. Ishamael wants to kill Rand. Be'lal wants him to survive until he gets Callandor then to kill him (or convert him?). The argument turns ugly, Ishamael throws a fireball.

Ishamael tries to convert Perrin, Lanfear tries to convert Perrin and Mat. They both fail.

Ishamael decides to kill Perrin and Mat in addition to Rand. He tells Perrin that they are taveren and they share the same fate. If one dies, others will follow.

QUESTION: Gray men and darkfriends try to kill Rand and they practically drove him to Tear. Who sent them? Be'lal or Ishamael? I think Ishamael sent them to kill Rand not Be'lal to simply drive him to Tear. Because Moiraine thinks that Rand moved too soon to get Callandor, he is not ready. I think Be'lal would not expect him to come so soon too. What do you think?

Confusion: But Be'lal did call Liandrin and other Black Ajah members to Tear and sent for 13 myrdraal. Who Be'lal wants to turn to the dark? Nynaeve, Elayne and Egwene I think, for it seems Liandrin sets a trap for them in the Stone by leaving clues about their whereabouts. Or does Be'lal want to turn Rand to dark using Black Ajah and myrdraal? If so then he wants to capture Rand not to kill him. But what about the Black Ajah and the girls then?

Sammael and Rhavin are both skeptic about Be'lal's plan. They do not want him to get Callandor from Rand. They do not dare to move against Be'lal though. So they remain passive. But Rhavin wants to kill Elayne to control Andor.

Why Ishamel did not try to kill Rand in Tear before he confronts Be'lal? I think Ishamael did not want to fight Be'lal to kill Rand in his domain. They are both Forsaken and DO does not want them to kill each other. This is why Ishamael waited Be'lal to subdue Rand first and when this last chance failed he attacked Rand.

How did Ishamael travel to the Stone? Ways or Tel'aran'rhiod?

How Lanfear fits into these events? I think Lanfear wants to dominate Rand and to defeat other Forsaken using Rand to become the ultimate Forsaken and maybe she wants to defeat even the DO himself. I think Lanfear betrays Be'lal by warning Nynaeve, Egwene and Elayne about where the possessions of Liandrin and Co. are found in the White Tower.

QUESTION: If Lanfear betrayed Be'lal what other clues Black Ajah left on their own for Nynaeve and Co. to draw them into the trap Be'lal sets?

QUESTION: On the way the girls are captured and 3 Myrdraal came to take them. Did Be'lal send them to capture girls or did Ishamael send them to kill the girls?

Lanfear warns Egwene in Tel'aran'rhiod against Be'lal in the form of an old crone. I think she wants the girls save Rand. But if so why did she not free them herself instead of Mat? Or did Lanfear cooperate with Be'lal to turn the girls to the dark eventually to make them serve Shadow? So plain question: Did Lanfear help Be'lal or hinder him? We know that she strongly disagreed with Ishamael on the fate of Rand. He wants to kill him, she wants to make him a puppet.
