Would This Story Work ?

I am a big fan of the WoT and have a hard time enjoying any other Sci-Fi and Fantasy anymore as I am always contemplating the next chain of events and story line in the WoT series... I would love to write a Book or two for the series , even tho I am not a Good writer like RJ is.

As to that I wonder if I could submit a storyline and add some objects of interest; tho it is likely these suggestions have already been contemplated or a more likely chain of events for the story may have already been written.

If I might tho here are 2 Storylines I would like to suggest:

(1) I can not help but see Egwen al'Vere getting co-opted by the secret circle of Aes Sedai who are hunting the Black Ajah inside the White Tower; Egwen has Power and Knowledge that would help them ; all they have to do is find out who is next in line to be Egwens Guards, kidnap them and force them to swear an oath on the rod and have them bring Egwen to the Dungeon Basements in the Tower where they do their Interogations; tho Egwen would be quick to swear the 3 Oaths or just an Oath to tell the Trueth for a short period of time in-order to confirm she is not Shadow Sworn, I am also certain that Egwen would refuse to swear any oath of Obediance and may even be able to turn the tables on her torturer if forced to sit on the Seat! ,,, Egwen weould of course wish to strike a bargan and get the secret cirle to agree to widen the scope of their hunt to include the rebel camp , forming somekind of secret sisterhood bound by Oaths of secrecy and allegence maybe even developing some hidden body and hand signal comunication method (using the Oath Rod as a Compulsory teaching tool a complicated language could be created and learned in several hours) Egwen could force the Rebels that follow her to fully co-operate, and given the recent revelation of Black Ajah and Male Forsaken in female form inside the Rebel camp the word force is a little strong convince is better; in such a circumstance the investigation in the Rebel camp would move very swiftly and Egwen could help assure that the Sisters inside the Tower who were Secret Circle members got to bond Asha'men as Warders (Fully trained and skilled Asha'men) ,,, it would soon be reveled that Asha'men could also be sworn on the Oath Rod and Rand al'Thor could then force the Oath Rod on Mazrim Taim and Logan and the rest of the Asha'men.

Egwen would revel the fact that a forsaken has taken up residence in the White Tower and a Trap would be set, where the Forsaken would be caught and tortured and interogated, then forced to forswear and the swear Oaths on the Oat Rod, Rand would also consent to the torture and interogation of the Forsaken he captured but he would keep control of her and Both female forsaken would be forced thru their Oaths on the Oath rod to revel secrets and instruct whole classes of Aes Sedai in weaves and uses of the True Source as well as giving the Browns and Greys many History lessons and information.

Under this circumstance Elayne Trakand would also gain use of the Oath Rod to sift thru the women in her Palace and uncover Dark friends there,,, in Elaynes exposure to the Oath Rod she would determine to decipher its secrets and find a way to make more Oath Rods of various Power and Strength ,,, thereby enabling the work of weeding out Dark Friends to excelerate...

 

(2) I strain with all my nerve endings to see into the Past of the ageless Wheel of Time and see a day when the wife of Lews Therin Telemon , I believe her name was Illian?, has just appeared in a Hidden Wedding Bower inside a Secreted Small Honeymoon Cottage made entirley of Cuendillar and woven with many inverted weaves of the Power making it invulnerable to entery by any means without the right Code and impervious to destruction and filling the enterior with weaves of health and vigor and stamina and passion; the Wedding Bower of Lews Therin Telemon and his wife so many years ago and still held secret and safe and protected by them; she has just returned from the twisted ter'Angreal Doorway which leads to the Diminsion of the Eelfinn, where, she obtained at a terribble price 3 objects of power,,,(1) a helmet of Healing which can heal the human body of all ills and injuries including Amputations and Poisons and Birth defects and OLD AGE ( and Old man of 100 years will swiftly be transformed into a YOUNG man of 20 Years with all of his teeth) and more urgently cure mental illness and madness and erradicate all taint of the Evil One's Spitual Poison from men who have been Tainted by the taint on the male half of the Source ,,,(2) a Staff of 3 Crowns (6 feet tall and appearing to be of wood but also harder and stronger than steel and appearing to alive and vibrant with life and purpose and power) which cast a Bond upon any Man ,Woman or Child and even upon the unborn fetus of pregnant women who touches it whether Knowingly , willingly or accidently or unknowingly; a bond which binds trheir soul to the Light forever and forbids them from joining or serving the Evil One and which further forces any Dark Friend who touches it confess themselves and their evil deeds to all and any who will listen and at every opportunity, it also breaks any bonds or links to the Evil One and permanently Binds the soul back to the Light; the Staffs Bond is so strong and powerful that Nothing and not even the Evil One can break The bonds or Claim the soul so bond , the slightest touch for the breifest moment of time is all that is needed to redeem a soul and protect a soul permanently and irrevocabley ,,,(3) a small figurine of a man and a woman standing together with an arm around shoulder and waiste holding together a large red gem carved in the shape of a rare flower which is known to have many healing properties, the figurine has on the bottom of its base the symbols of the 5 elements of the One Source Earth, Air, Fire , Water and Spirit and the Symbol for Spirit is 5 times the size of the other 4, the mesage is clear , a small weave of the 5 elements with the weave for spirit being 5 times stronger , once done the person holding the Figurine will be the recipient of all the Knowledge of the Healing arts that are known to mankind at the time it was made including all the weaves of power and their usage...

She sets the 3 items down upon the fresh bed and takes a deep breathe, being instantly renewed by the powers of the place, she weaves a doorway to her home where she intends to find her husband and seduce him beguile him and trick him in his madness and parinoia to come with her back to the place where they sealed their marriage in love and passion , there to get him to try on the helmet of Healing and then to gift him with the Staff to take to the people to save them from the dark one the Evil One... She steps thru the Portal into her home but before she can seduce her husband she is killed by him and the world erupts as the cataclisim folds the earth, the Wedding Bower on the side of a Mountain above a small stream is covered by an avalanch of earth and stone, covered but not destroyed as the wards woven into it and the Strength of the Cuendillar preserve it and its contents the many thousand years...

When new earth quakes and upheavels cause it to be unburied again and an old wolf finds it and calls to one of the few Human wolf brothers he knows of, Young Bull, a young man with the Powerful build of a Blacksmith and yellow eyes, Perrin Aybara,,, who is traveling back to his home with his wife ,,, many of the wards are down because of the Long time and convulsions and fluctuations in the power ,,, and the Old wolf enters the Bower, in mere moments the Old wolf Howls with a deep urgency and leaps from the doorway of the Bower with Vigor and excitment he tells Young Bull to hurry and bring his mate to the place and she will be very happy and give him many cubs ,,, but please hurry young bull ,,, I have the need upon me to find a new mate and give her many cubs , life is fast again and my fur shivers , hurry Young Bull so that I may go...

Perrin leads a small party of his Wife and 3 of her followers, the 1st of Mayne and 10 of her Guards 3 wise ones and 3 Aes Sedai, and 20 Bowmen from Emonds Field and the 2 Asha'men and 50 other men who have attempted to join themselves to their new Lord who rescued them from the Aiel,,, Perrin and Fail are 1st thru the Bower entry way followed by the Asha'man Grady and one of the Aes Sedai (Grady and the Aes Sedai have been secretely interested in each other till now but niether dared let it be known to the other or anyone else it was a small interest which only allowed that they occassionaly talk),,, inside they discover the Staff and the Helmet and the figurine laying upon a fresh bed , all handle the Staff and as they linger passions arise, none others have entered as the place is small, Grady in a flirtasious moment ask the Aes sedai how he looks with a Helment on and places the helmet on his head instantly he is cured of all ills , he becomes Young again and most especially his mind is restored and all mental illness gone in a rush, he shivers and gasp in joy and removes the Hemet to see the passionate gaze of the Aes sedia close to him as she has moved closer to him and they kiss, while Perrin and Faile have embraced , kissed and then decided to find a more secluded place to pursue their passions, they exit carrying the Staff and the figurine, the Hemet has fallen to the bed , upon Perrins and Failes exit from the Bower , the 1st of Mayne starts to enter and sees the passionate gropings of Grady and the Aes Sedai stops and turns away in amazment but one of the Wise Ones looks in and became angry at the lack of Control of the Aes Sedai strides in to upbrade her and bring her to heel but in 3 steps begins to feel the effect and then stops amazed as she analizes the flows upon her and then in shock and amusement sees the Helmet on the bed and crosses to the bed and picks it up panting and shivering she exits observed by the 1st of Mayne, the 1st decides to investigate a little bit and enters briefly to exit after 30 seconds a hand across her heaving bussoms and panting for breath she exits and burst out in a long bout of laughter and shreiks of hilarity the Wise one who had entered at first looks at her with sterness but then also breaks down into rolling hilarious gails of laughter, after their exit Perrin and Faile are beset by the 2 of the 3 wise ones and the 2 remaining Aes Sedai, who see the Staff and the Figurine , the Wise Ones respecting the right of possesion say nothing until one of the Aes Sedai recognizes the figurine as a Terangreal and attempts to take the Figurine and the staff from Perrine and Faile,,, a Wise ones angrily interceeds and the staff and figurine make a short round of hands before being returned to Perrin and Faile ,,, at which time Perrin hands the Staff down to the men below them lower down the slope of loose stone and soil the staff passes thru many hands as each new man touches it his face and stature make a small adjustment as a new purpose and steel entires their heart and mind, on the face of 1st one then two more of the fifty new starngers, would be hangers on to Perrins coat Tails, there slowly appears a look of sorrow and and angruish and then the man begins to confess his evil allegence to the Shadow and his many crimes in the Evil Ones service, this to the Horror and then Anger of those around him,,, the 3 men are beaten and bond with leather straps and Bow Strings to be held for Judgement,,, Perrin Having gained a small measure of self control and Faile blushing and getting a grip on herself, Perrin has observed the passage of the staff and saw the small changes in every man who touched the staff and the big change and the sorrow and grief that overcame the 3 Dark friends when they touched the staff, he thinks back to the moment he touched the Staff and sees a small change masked by the enflamation of his desire for Faile,,, Perrin hands the Figurine to the Aes sedai and tells her to Study it, the Aes Sedai looks triumphant and takes teh Figurine but the sees the stern approach of the 2 Wise Women and quails but clutches the Figurine and sobs but he told me to study it and the wise ones say and you shall with our assistance and advice COME GIRL, the Other aes Sedai is Torn between going with the Figurine and staying with Perrin who has now taken possession of the Staff again,,, hhhmmm figurine and Wise Women or Staff and Perrin ,,, her minds sees a good thing and is about to go to Perrin when the other Wise Woman beside the Bower door stops Laughing and commands her to come help her untangle this mess, the Wise Woman then ask the other Asha'man to assist her also and they begin to untangle the Aes Sedai and The Asha'man Grady, both of whom are fully envolved in passionate love Making, Naked and oblivious to the people outside the Bower who are determing how to extricate them with out entering the Bower, Faile Approaches them and suggest leaving alone for a while and posting Guards to keep anyone from looking and watching the going's on inside... Faile request their aid for her Husbands investigation ,,, and she ask about the helmet as she observes aloud that Grady seems to be a bit younger than when he entered the Bower,,, the Aes Sedai remarks he is a lot younger and the Wise Woman says he has become a young man again, tho I doubt it it because of the Bower, the Bower seems to be a place for Lovemaking to Invigorate and Inflame the Passions , a place a Pair of Newly weds would go to spend a few weeks at the begining of thier marriage , perhaps we should see how long the 2 of them can keep it up to pardon the choice of words then we will know more about the place, the Aes Sedai remarks that the other Sister will be Mortified and the Butt of many Jokes , the Asha'man says Way to go Grady with a trace of envy and admiration in his voice, this shocks the women present and the 1st of Mayne Orders her Guards to keep people away from the Bower and to not allow the Newly weds to be disturbed,,, Faile ask about the Helmet again and the Wise woman states she has not had time to investigate it and reluctantly but decisively hands the Hemet to Faile,,, Fail remarks it is a Helmet and ment to be worn on the Head and doffs the Headgear to the Bewildered Snort of the Wise woman and the cry of Terror of the Aes Sedia,,, Faile feels a Trilling Thrill pass thru her body and removes the helmet feeling strong and well and energized,,, she thinks for a moment and ask the Asha'man to don the Hemet , he does so and is overwhelmed as the Madness evaperates from his Mind and his Body heals, upon removing the Helmet he shouts with joy and bows to Fail and thanks her, he explains the Madness and paranoia brought on by the Taint and saiden has been dispelled and he is SANE now ,,, The Wise woman places the helmet on her own head and shivers as her body heals and she becomes Young again, she emeges a Young Girl of 20 years invigorated and refreshed her clothing now loose upon her slimer frame,,, all are Shocked and she laughs and remarks that her friends will never be rid of her now... The Aes Sedai trys on the helmet and shivers as the Years roll off her body and the damaging Bond of the Three Oaths is removed... She removes the Helmet and remarks that she felt a Bond Burden removed from her soul... The 1st of Mayne trys on the Helmet and shivers and feels the healing of unknown ills inside her body a small shiver runs thru her and she is invigorated and energized... Faile Observes one of her husbands Comrads and loyal bowen from the Two Rivers who has just handed the Staff with the 3 Crowns on its top to Perrin ,,, the man has broken teeth , Scars and Pockmarks on his face from ancient illness, the look of a man of 50 years and a wooden peg strapped to his left leg below the Knee ,,, Faile calls to the man and gets a curious glance from Perrin as he examines the Staff ,,, the man approaches and she ask him to try the Helmet on , the Asha'man reacts and using the Power of the True Source removes the Mans Peg Leg and embraces the man in weaves of Air to hold him upright , the man is startled and nerviously places the helmet on his head, the transformation is quick and startling to those watching as the regrowing Leg unable to burst thru the well sewn legings nearly rip the mans trousers completely off the Years melt away from the Mans body and the scars disappear from his face,,, there is a shout from those watching which turns into Whoops and cheers, and Perrin looks over and his face splits in a grin and look of amaziment and his eyes begin to take on a look of thoughtful planning,,, Perrin orders that everyone touch the Staff again and he carefully observes to make sure everyone touches the staff including the 10 Winged Guards and he briefly enters the bower to insure the Asha'man and his new bride the Aes Sedai are both touched by the staff,,, then they all return to the encampment which is swiftly settleing into camp routine ,,, Perrin calls for a Conference in his Tent and orders the One Ashaman and the Aes Sedai to make them secure from prying ears and eyes,,, Perrin then makes certain everyone present has touched the Staff ,,, then Perrin begins the open discussion of the 3 artifacts and the Wedding Bower,,, and the observed effects of the same,,, when Perrin discloses his own Observations about the Staff some of those present are skeptical but all agree to test it and to arrainge 2 large tents at the edge of camp on the Trail toward home where they shall Cause everyone Man Woman and Child to pass thru the 2 Tents as they Move out in the Morning,,, a List is to be kept and everyone is to accounted for , without exception ,,, and everyone will be observed to touch the Staff , a Guard of 10 strong men shall keep watch and force any in the tent who might refuse to touch the Staff and also to Bind and sudue and gag any who begin to confess their Crimes and to being a Dark Friend, it is decided to screen a number or Men that very Night inorder to have a proven force in the Morning,,, Faile remarks about the Helmet and Perrin Trys it on and feels the remarkable effects,,, all in the Tent try on the helmet and the astonishing results are observed by all present as several wise women are made young again and some older men also,,, it is decided that as the people pass thru the 2 tents on their way up the road they shall everyone be made to also try on the Helmet... The Aes Sedai and the Wise Women who had investigated the Figurine together had not tried any weaves upon the Figurine and advised Caution but the Asha'man present decided to do some on the spot investigation of his own and wove weaves of Fire earth Air Water and Spirit totaly undetected while holding the Figurine in his hands and he directed the Weaves at the 5 spots on the bottom of the base where the Symbols for each were present , suddenly the Red Flower glowed Briliantly and the Figurine was ingulfed in a green fire which spread over the Asha'man and played up and down his body,,, the wise women screamed and cursed a foolish man who would chance the lives others in his bumbling around, the Aes Sedai Nearly chocked and fled the tent in panic, fleeing to what they felt was a safe distance they stopped and waited and watched and when nothing pursued or befell them returned to the tent,, the Ash'man sucked in a Deep Breathe and the Green fire disappeared, a wide Grin came upon his face and he declared how he had learned so many Weaves for Healing that he could not hardly contain it in his mind, not only weaves for Healing but Medical proceedures , Diagnostics and Herbalogy? ways to heal without the power,,, all of the Wise Women then decided to test the Figurine and after when they were satisfied they allowed the Aes Sedai to use the Figurine,,, all were amazed at the new healing crafts they had learned... it was decided that the Figurine would be used by every man and woman who could channel the Power where ever they could be found... It was also decided that Rand al'Thor must be healed by the Hemet and all the other men who could Channel the Power as soon as possible,,, and so as soon as all had been accomplished in the Morning the Asha'men would both go and look for Rand,,, in the mean time everyone they found on their line of March would be touched by the Staff and wear the hemet, and any old soldiers who were healed would be asked to join an army to march against the Dark and go to Tarmon Gai'don...

Faile's Maid Servant , the former Queen of Andor , Morgas, is not present neither is her dutiful suitor and hopeful lover,,, Faile has a light of cunning go on inside her head, and she calls for her followers to come to her tent, there, with 20 strong men who have been previously screened and the Asha'man and the Aes Sedai and a Wise Woman, Faile Screens everyone of her Followers and finds only one Dark Friend, this causes her anguish because she was deceived,,, then Fail sends away the 20 strong men and holds a meeting with her followers now proven true devotees of the Light,,, and she devises a plan which delights all present...

The Next Morning,,, as Two tents are errected on the planed line of March a few hundred yards beyond the edges of the Camp ,,, 7 wise women and the remaining Aes Sedai and the 1 Asha'man with 2 Extra saddled Horses and 2 bundles of Clothing go back to the Wedding Bower and using the True Source Grady and his new wife are Shielded and bound and dragged from the Wedding , then Covered with Blankets while the group wait for Grady and his new Aes Sedai wife to calm down and loose some of their ardor,,, then they are Dressed and brought back to the camp where they Touch the staff again and then wear the helmet ,,, Faile then calls for her Maid , Morgase and her Young Paramor ,,, and have both of them touch the Staff and then wear the helmet, both are made to be 21 years old again and healed of all known and unknown illness and injury,,, then Faile Orders her Maid to go to the Wedding Bower and clean it up and prepare it for Perrin and Faile to have a long delayed Honeymoon in (they are not to far from being home again) she orders her Maid to take her Paramoor as her Guardian and to also assist her in making the small cottage ready for Faile and Perrin to Occuppy,,, Morgase and her paramor go to the Wedding Bower and enter it shortly they are envolved in passionate embraces and the Guards ensure their privacy,,, meanwhile back at camp things are under way and Faile and several of the Wise Womenand the Aes Sedai are observing the Ashaman Grady and his new Aes Sedia Wife ,,, the Aes Sedia does some Blushing but is Obviously now deeply in love with Grady and Grady with her as they Embrace and flirt and kiss and joke and tease each other like any happily married couple, both had been somewhat interested in the other before they entered the wedding Bower, the bower merely reenforced the positive and supressed the negative and increased the libido and the physical Stamina and passion of each,,, but it was apparent that the effects were very long lasting mostly having broken down convention and inhibition for the time inside the bower and allowing their Love to bloom and be settled in their amorous actions in the Bower,,, the Bower having been intended for the honeymoon of a man and woman who were Married and in love already , still, would have strong effects on any who were drawn together and happened to enter the Bower together...

Robert Jordan does not allow fanfiction in his universe. He also is quite firm in his desire that no one else will write anything in his universe or with his characters officially.

Yep. Fan fiction is something most epic fantasy writers frown upon (Goodkind and GRRM both refuse to allow it under any circumstances, and I believe Feist also takes that view). That said, such authors may be open to collaboration. RJ has already collaborated with Teresa Patterson on the Big White Book and Feist has collaborated with Janny Wurts, William Forstchen and SM Stirling on novels. You'd need to write something entirely original, become a respected author in your own right and then present some kind of proposal to RJ's agent. I don't think RJ has ever said anything against the idea of collaboration (with him retaining 100% creative control in any such project).
