That said, "sympathetic" comments are cliche. But while you are out poking them, Cyndane's comment was just as bad or worse than Aginor (Did you ignore her's?)... She did still try to cast doubt on a confirmed innocent after her death. ;)

Good morning, everyone. The sun is shining, and you are all beautifully, wonderfully alive. So alive. Alive in the aliviest of ways.

 

You wake up, stretching, looking around at the rest of the group, doing the same. All but that old guy, Paku. He apparently had a strenuous Halloween - because he's still passed out in his costume, flecks of dried blood staining his waterbending zombie costume.

 

Wait a minute . . . why would Paku go as a waterbending zombie? And do we even have Halloween in the Avatar universe? I'm pretty sure we don't.

Well, crap.

 

 

PAKU (ASMODEAN), the waterbending master, has been killed.

 

Day 2 Has Begun. With 19 Players alive, it takes 10 votes to lynch (see updated player list on page 1).

 

Day 2 will end, whether there is a majority or not, in 84 hours (so that means Friday Night at 10pm). No votes submitted after that deadline will be counted. I won't tell you what the "no majority" penalty is . . . but trust me, you don't want to find out.

I said that Osangar because I was frustrated that everyone bandwagoned on Lanfear for no real reasons and she looked innocent to me. Surprise surprise she was. Whatevs if that makes me look mafia :P I"m not going to stop being honest or try and look at everything I say five different ways to see if someone could read something wrong into it.

Wow, Aginor, thanks for the...credit. I didn't call you out, hon. I believe you are looking for that Rahvin fellow. *points* I called out Cyndane for asking Lanfear why she couldn't just be guilty (like a good little girl) as if Lanfear had a choice (ie casting doubt on her). Yeah, I'll be declining to meet up with you for tea (or anything else), Cyndane. I, personally, prefer not meeting up with potential knife wielding strangers.

 

Asmodean going was an interesting choice.

 

I think I like no role on the coroner. That's gotta be frustrating the mafia. :D

I thought for sure either Lanfear was fake role claiming or Asmodean was at least mafia. Now I don't know what to think.

 

Yes, DM is quite. I think the book has something to do with it. Not to mention the wonderful crash it had. I best do a re-read before I vote.

Yes, as a matter of fact the new book is very good. It seems as if every time I try to log on the site goes down while I'm in the middle of posting or is already down and prevents me from logging in. I'm not complaining, after all if this was Dragonmount 7.0 the downtime would be that much more frequent; but it could easily explain the lack of posting for a lot of other players.

 

 

Did anyone else notice that Asmodean had 4 votes countred agaisnt him, yet only 3 voters showing?

Aginor's statement would be much more suspicious if he had voted for Lanfear; if anything it's my opinion that he was just stating a fact that we all know, 85% of the time an innocent gets the lynch on Day 1.

 

Cyndane's response to Lanfear flipping innocent is worth noting; as is Demandred taking the time to FOS both Asmodean & Mordeth during the night.

 

I do agree that Asmodean is an interesting choice for the mafia to kill.

 

I shall need to do a re-read, to further analyze the evidence so for and see what I can come up with. My only parting thought was that I know that I found Osangar & Mesaana increasingly scummy Day 1.

I have more thoughts about Asmodean, but I'm leery about how much to state. Thanks for pointing out one of them- the votes on him at day's end. Excluding Lanfear, you'll note no one else had more than one by day's end...

Well, that's not good, we've lost two townsmen and are no closer to finding anything out really. Yes, I know it's only day one. But day one holds so much information towards the game if only we could actually see it.

 

I am happy to say, that I am now more capable of being online more often than I previously was. At least I hope, this is not a promise or anything, but certainly an attempt.

I believe ToM has taken over the lives of most at the moment; I myself cannot wait to get my hands on it, but school and work come first, and they're both quite fierce with the black hole called exhaustion, sleep deprivation, and time-consumption.

 

Since I've been addressed... Balth, My comment on Mordeth during the night was because of his nonchalant-ness of Lanfear's lynch votes, which pinged me, and how he was playing with Asmodean, pushing the rules like at a fellow team member. Now that we know Asmo is not mafia though, that negates my latter statement, but it could also be Mordeth tying himself to a known town member. My fear was being killed in the night because I know I've been rather inactive lately and that's my fault, and it will be fixed, but I wanted to get a thought or two out before day time struck; I hate not having a voice...

I must agree with this. My parents have actually forbin me from reading it even if i get a copy untill after i have handed in my scholarship art portfolio.

Honestly I think the mafia made a mistake killing Asmodean. I mean he was up next in my book for a day two lynch. With them killing him off now we are left to wonder what they are up to. Maybe we have newbies in the mafia and they have no clue. Atleast when I am mafia I know I wouldn't kill off a suspicious character. I would let the town have at them.

What could they be planning? Killing off someone we were already targeting. Is there a firenation scheme to draw the avatar out by giving false ideas? There are many things we need to think about here and really consider who we point out.

Not so positive it was the mafia due to the oddity of the choice. A few choices.

 

1. Mafia went for a confusion strategy. (Maybe newbies; maybe tired of no info hits. Not enough info, imo, to make stable guess.)

2. There's an assassin or vigilante of sorts. (Over eager? Over confidant? Has more than one hit?)

3. Less likely- the mafia had a clue about the type of role they were hitting.

4. Amusing, but maybe the least likely: Someone got fed up with him posting on the wrong account...

 

Also, we need to be moving, don't we? Deadline is tomorrow.

 

I'm going to go ahead and VOTE: CYNDANE as a continuation of my last vote and the comment over night...

If no one else is suspicious enough, I'll gladly switch to a player who is not around. I know there is no participation grade, but I hate lack of participation as it's often deadlier than the mafia. Tallied a quick list of these low posters.

I know ToM and stuff has taken over everyone's life, I just finished it myself, but we need to get a lynch by tomorrow night... Kivam promised we wouldn't like it if we didn't get a majority.

 

I really don't have much to go on right now, though I am keeping my eye on a few people but I don't want another innocent lynched so I'm going to be careful now, so I am just going to vote for an innactive person because they aren't really participating much anyway.

As far as Asmodean goes, I think it was a foolish move by the mafia. That, or a clever move. Either way doesn't really matter, seeing as how neither path really gets us any closer to the mafia. Why this is is because there are a number of possibilities, and we'd just be talking ourselves in circles while the mafia dance out of our reach.

 

I find Aginor, Mesanna, and Ishamael to be the top of my scum chart.

 

Aginor for this before Lanfear was lynched:

Mesaana and Ishamael just FEEL wrong to me. But that's not even a 50/50, so I'm still debating with myself.

In closing, with what's available, I'm not satisfied enough to vote at the moment. I know the deadline is approaching fast, but I can't place my vote in good conscience in such short time as I have had to gather any info from Day 1+. Don't like it? blame Moridin.
