Hello!

Glad to find a place to obsess and maybe get a few answers...

In GS ch. 1 Tears From Steel, Rand is thinking about the sword he was given and he recognized the weapon from his own memory. Can any one tell me what is going on?

The Sword is Justice, Authur Hawkwing's old sword.
