Personally mine is The Dragon Reborn. It has several milestones and some good action.

Mines Lord of Chaos, its really interesting to see all the plans and schemes begin to create disorder in Randland.

 

Plus Dumai's Wells is pretty darn awesome.

I'm currently only up to Crossroads Of Twilight, but to me the first four books were the best of the whole series. As far as the best overall? It is between the first three, which, honestly I can't make up my mind. I can't wait to get to the next two books though, as I keep hearing that the series really picks back up again.

Eye of the World will always be my favorite. From beginning to end you know that future books are going to be amazing.
