I was doing a re-read and got the min and rands first time meeting each other. she says that he veiwing of rand include a beggers staff and white-hot iron. Any clue to what these are about, thanks.

I was under the impression that Rand ends up looking pretty beat up and not very nice, I mean he's already taking a turn for the worst, eye problems, hand problems, his side, and the natural decay caused by the taint by Saidin might not have stopped, even though the taint itself is gone. I'm under the impression that things can't even really be said to have hit the fan yet, compared to what is coming...

 

 

P.S. It should be rather obvious (Tentative title for book 13 is even shifting winds) that things are about to take a turn for the worst, such a horrible turn that the light shall seem only a memory.
